Few have attained the level of fandom as collector Jeff Bond. Not only does his garage hold thousands of hand built space ship models, he also played Dr. McCoy in the fan-made series Star Trek: New Voyages. This collector stars in this week’s episode of Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest, and, as you can see in an exclusive clip below, this collector is tasked with building a replica of the iconic Nostromo ship from the 1979 sci-fi classic Alien.
The clip, which was provided to us by Comic-ConHQ.com, features Brandon Alinger, the chief operations officer for The Prop Store, which preserves iconic movie and TV props. Brandon Alinger is seen meeting with Jeff Bond in this clip, where he gets to see the authentic Nostromo model for the first time. Jeff Bond reveals in this clip that the Nostromo would easily be the biggest item he’s ever made in his garage, and later in the episode, viewers will get a chance to check out Jeff Bond’s collection, which holds thousands of hand built space ship models. This exclusive clip is from the third episode of the show’s first season, which airs Tuesday, November 29. If you don’t have a subscription to Comic-Con HQ yet, then you’re in luck, because we’re giving away annual subscriptions to the site.
