Kevin Feige revealed that, thanks to COVID-19, this will be the first time in several years that the crew at Marvel Studios will meet in person. The Marvel head honcho made mention of the “giant board” that outlines the next ten years of the MCU, which is no doubt something that Marvel fans would love to see. In fact, the whole retreat sounds like the perfect working vacation for comic book movie fans.

“I’m going back as soon as I get off stage to our first creative retreat in person with the Marvel Studios creative team in three years, and we have a giant board there that takes us through the next decade of MCU movies. And they are different, and they’re unique, and they are special, and they are meant for your theatres.”

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

Marvel Studios is now well-known for planning way, way ahead. A strategy that has enabled them to become the franchise to beat in the modern cinematic era. Beginning back in 2008 with the first Iron Man movie, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has since introduced a whole host of heroes and villains, many of whom are now popular cultural figures, with the MCU having gradually become one of the most successful franchises in history. The MCU has even influenced the way movies are made, introducing the idea of shared universes and now cinematic multiverses.

So, what could the next decade of the MCU involve? For now, only Kevin Feige and his Marvel pals know for sure.
