Being that Friends was one of the most successful sitcoms to hit the small screen, it was no shock as to why fans strongly wanted to see a reunion show. For ten seasons, viewers watched these six pals tackled life and friendship with sharp humor along the way. Off camera, Matt LeBlanc (Joey) even referred to Matthew Perry (Chandler) as his little brother. However, Matt LeBlanc’s dad, Paul, told a very different story.
Paul LeBlanc told Radar Online that his son and Perry didn’t always see eye-to-eye and that Matt wanted to pound Perry a couple of times. He went on to claim that Matt found David Schwimmer “kind of dry, a bit too serious,” but he always liked Lisa Kudrow. However, sources claim that Perry’s upcoming memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing will spill all the juicy secrets of his Friends co-stars. The memoir is set to be released in November.

Meanwhile, the rumor mill is grinding out corroborating stories aligned with those in Perry’s camp. According to one insider regarding Perry’s upcoming memoir:
“He was a ladies’ man. Now he’s man. Now he’s old. I don’t talk to him. You can learn valuable lessons from unpleasant people too.”
The source explained by stating Perry will throw the light on events that went on after the show’s finale as LeBlanc went behind everybody’s back by launching his own spinoff series Joey and that Perry will be very frank in his autobiography. Also, that Perry did not bring it up on the reunion special last year to avoid controversy, but he is ready to set the record straight and isn’t going to hold back.
“Matt is in for a rude awakening. The full story of that betrayal hasn’t been told yet, and Matthew is not going to pull any punches.”
