The Hulk has been an essential member of the Avengers since the release of their first ensemble epic back in 2012. Armed with only his two sizable fists, the Hulk has smashed his way through countless MCU villains. The superhero is the result of an experiment with gamma radiation gone awry, which transformed the brilliant scientist Bruce Banner is a massive green monster. Audiences have seen the character undergo many changes since his introduction, and an upcoming Disney+ series will seek to expand upon the lore of the Hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name, will tell the story of Jennifer Walters, an attorney who, despite being completely uninterested in the responsibilities implicit in having superpowers, winds up as a Hulk-like green behemoth with super strength. The series was created by Jessica Gao and promises to be yet another excellent addition to the canon of the MCU spinoff series.

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

Preliminary promotional material for the series has already promised the return of several beloved MCU characters, and there is no telling what other twists are yet to come. Here is what MCU fans want to see in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Courtroom Drama With Matt Murdock

As the title She-Hulk: Attorney at Law suggests, the titular character is a lawyer. Before becoming contaminated with the Hulk’s blood, which resulted in her transforming into a 6'7 green behemoth, Jennifer Walters was a lawyer who focused on cases involving super-powered individuals. The other most prominent lawyer in the MCU is Matt Murdock, or Daredevil. There is much evidence to prove that the character will appear in the upcoming series.

Teasers for the upcoming She-Hulk have shown a suited-up Daredevil combating crime in the streets. While it will definitely please MCU fans to see the fan-favorite Daredevil beating down bad guys in New York, it would also be interesting to see him in a courtroom setting. Is it possible that Murdock and Jennifer Walters could find themselves on either side of a legal battle? Alternatively, Murdock could make a useful addition to Walter’s legal team on a complex case or vice versa.

Hulk Showcasing His Sensitive Side

When first introduced to the MCU, the Hulk was a mindless smashing machine with little to no control. Slowly but surely, Bruce Banner learned to control his powers, but only after realizing that he was always angry during the climactic final battle of The Avengers. As such, he was always in touch with his monstrous alter-ego. In more recent projects, Banner gained complete control of the Hulk and is seen walking around without fear of losing control and going on a rampage.

In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, fans will likely get to see Bruce Banner and the Hulk fully incorporate with one another. In one trailer, the Hulk is shown practicing yoga, an action that would be utterly unthinkable if the character hadn’t evolved past his earlier form. However, another, more recent teaser for the show sees Banner hurling a massive boulder over a distant mountain, which seems to indicate that the upcoming series will still feature a fair bit of Hulk smashing.

The Hulk’s emotional realization will make him an excellent instructor to his hesitant cousin. However, his newfound Zen might be frustrating to Jennifer Walters. She will likely spend the beginning of the series incredibly angry at Banner for accidentally cursing her to live a life as a green monster.

She-Hulk Utilizing Both Brain and Brawn

The new, more sensitive version of the Hulk will be She-Hulk’s mentor as she seeks to better understand her newfound powers. This will likely be important to Jennifer Walters, who is utterly unwilling to accept her newfound Hulkification. It may be that the wisdom of scientist Bruce Banner is a more effective teaching tool than the fighting skills of the Hulk.

Additionally, She-Hulk’s primary villain, Jameela Jamil’s Titania, is an eccentric social media influencer who is almost as annoying as she is strong. Titania, along with her super strength, will likely be adept at emotional manipulation and mind games. As such, She-Hulk will need to use her brain almost as often as her newly obtained rippling green muscles.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law promises to be an MCU series that doesn’t take itself too seriously, though it is sure to have its fair share of serious moments. Ideally, viewers will get to see She-Hulk smash, but it’s already apparent that the series will do its best to avoid becoming one note. Whether Jennifer Walters is socking supervillains or pouring over legal briefs, MCU fans will be sure to love Bruce Banner’s slightly smaller yet every bit as a capable cousin.
