Last night I hit the red carpet for the Season 2 premiere of The Killing, which debuts on AMC Sunday, April 1. I got to chat with series star Mireille Enos, who also talked about her upcoming zombie movie World War Z.
We reported earlier this month that World War Z was being pushed from Christmas 2012 to an undetermined Summer 2013 release. I asked her when we might see the first trailer, but, alas, she doesn’t know, even if she is just as eager as us to see it.
“I think it’s going to be awesome. I had an incredible time shooting it. I haven’t seen any of the final cuts, but I know they’re working away at it. (Director) Marc Forster is really excited.”
Mireille Enos plays Karen Lane in World War Z, the wife of Brad Pitt’s Gerry Lane, a U.N. ambassador who travels the world trying to stop the worldwide zombie outbreak before there are no humans left on Earth.
“No, I’m impatient too. I want to see some!”
