Netflix has added a brand-new feature to its interface that has many fans breathing a sigh of relief. The option to remove movies and TV shows in your ever-growing “Continue Watching” row is now reality.
Netflix has an extensive library of content for people to watch — an endless sea of shows and movies — which most likely means that we can start multiple shows at one time and bounce to a new film. Doing so leaves us multiple programs that are either incomplete or bailed on. We have all started something on Netflix that we never get around to finishing, and it seems that we are always reminded of those unfinished documentaries that pop up in the “Continue Watching” section.
MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY
That never ending row on your Netflix screen is typically full of either series you are binge-watching or movies that gave up on or the last minutes of the rolling credits. It can get pretty crowded with numerous documentaries, limited series and more. I can speak from personal experience: My profile is filled with a lot of random content. Well, now you can manually select the items you want and remove them from your row, clearing up the crowded section so that you can add new material. It’s straightforward and a game changer for the streaming service. All you need to do is scroll and look for the new ‘Remove from Continue Watching’ feature. Oh, there’s an undo option as well, just in case you change your mind and would like to go back and give it another chance.
When Will It Be Avaliable?
The new feature is now available on the web, mobile, and TV versions of Netflix. The “Continue Watching” section is one of the first things users see when they log into their user profile now; it won’t seem like a neverending row of incomplete tasks because users can now clean it up on their own. The ability to choose which shows stay in your “Continue Watching” section means less of a mess to search through to find what you want to finish and which you have zero desire to complete. Who wants to add more stuff until that one show finally fades away off the row?
This is a pretty significant step for the streaming giant, as it has been some time since they added or changed a feature. According to several sites and blogs, some of the most requested features that subscribers would like to see added to Netflix are:

For now, however, this new feature will do. I’m sure most people are already signing into their profile and cleaning house in their soon-to-be very short “Continue Watching” row.
