The first episode of Never Seen Again will be available for free from May 7 through May 10, 2022, on CBS News app, with the first season becoming available for streaming on May 10, 2022, on Paramount+. Each episode concentrates on a single gut-punching case featuring individuals grappling with the last time they saw their loved ones before they vanished. No stranger to tragedy, actor-director Tyler Perry will kick things off with the story about Terrance Williams, a missing-persons case that sparked local outrage. Perry says:
Tyler Perry serves as executive producer for the premiere episodes: “Driven Away,” and “In the Arms of the Law.” The first episodes involve the case of a 27-year-old Black man named Terrance Williams, who disappeared in Naples, Fla. in 2004 after last being seen getting into a Collier County sheriff’s patrol car. At first, the officer said he never met Williams, but under questioning from police investigators, he changed his story, stating the young man had car troubles and he simply gave him a ride to the gas station. Soon, it is discovered that a second man, a young Mexican immigrant named Felipe Santos, disappeared after getting into this same officer’s patrol car.
“I was shocked and outraged. I had to get involved. I immediately thought, ‘What can I do to help? What can I do to bring attention to this?’”
Are These Disappearing Acts a Sheer Coincidence?
Both Williams’ mom and Tyler Perry feel something sinister had occurred. Some folks have even speculated that the sheriff had gone rogue and dumped both men into the nearby alligator-infested Everglades. Perry added:

“They’re both (men) disappearing with the same deputy after being put in the same deputy’s car. If this is a coincidence, then he is the most unlucky man in the world, that this could actually be something that happened to him twice. I just wish people would take a moment and just imagine somebody you love disappears. Just ripped away from you with no answers.”
The number of newsmagazine shows is no doubt increasing with a plethora of stories to tell. Never Seen Again poses the crucial question: Someone out there knows something…Is it you? These are real stories about real people not knowing if their loved ones had run away or were the victims of foul play. Viewers are encouraged to help those left behind shellshocked and heartbroken by contacting police departments and/or Crime Stoppers if they have any information.
