Electric Mayhem, the band within The Muppets, has announced some additions to the cast of the forthcoming series, The Muppets Mayhem. The show will stream on Disney+, giving fans another Muppets series to enjoy on the platform. In a tweet from the official Electric Mayhem account, Lilly Singh, Saara Chaudry, Tahj Mowry, and Anders Holm were all confirmed to be joining the cast. You can find the tweet below.
Chaudry will play Hannah in the show, who’s taken her online make-up tutorials and turned them into a social media empire. Unfortunately, her success has strained her relationship with her sister, Nora, played by Singh. Chaudry is an up-and-coming actress known for The Mysterious Benedict Society, the animated film The Breadwinner, Dino Dana, and Holly Hobbie. According to the Disney Parks Blog, Singh will be the lead human role, a junior music executive tasked with managing and wrangling the band. Holm plays JJ in the series, the love interest of Nora and a tech entrepreneur who used to be a nerdy intern. Tahj Mowry, who was previously announced in the series, will play Gary ‘Moog’ Moogwski.

Who Are Electric Mayhem?
The Electric Mayhem Band first appeared on The Muppets Show in the 1970s and have been integral to the show ever since. As a result, The Muppets Mayhem will heavily involve the band, according to Deadline. The crew includes Dr. Teeth (Bill Barretta), Animal (Eric Jacobson), Floyd Pepper (Matt Vogel), Janice (David Rudman), Zoot (Dave Goelz), and Lips (Peter Linz).
The series is developed by Adam F. Goldberg, who’s had a string of successes in the last few years. He’s behind projects such as ABC’s Schooled, Imaginary Mary, and the hit comedy series The Goldbergs. The Muppets Mayhem isn’t the first Muppets show to arrive at Disney+. In July 2020, Muppets Now premiered on the streaming service, and the Halloween special Muppets Haunted Mansion, inspired by the Disney park attraction, premiered on Disney+ in October 2021.
