Last year’s Disney+ Day gave a tease of what Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk character is going to look like when the first footage from the show was released in a new trailer. However, that footage only gave the briefest glimpse of the Orphan Black star in her angry green form, but a new set of licensed Thermos cups has revealed the best look yet at Jennifer Walters in her full She-Hulk glory as they all feature promo art based on the character’s face. What is more, the art seems to be based on her actual appearance rather than being stylized cartoon versions, meaning this is exactly how we should expect Maslany to appear in the series.

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

She-Hulk will introduce a new Hulk to the MCU, but will also see the return of Mark Ruffalo as both Professor Hulk and his Bruce Banner alter-ego, and Tim Roth’s Abomination, who was last seen leaving the fighting arena with Wong in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. While there is little known about the plot of the series, it is being pitched as a “half-hour legal comedy” that will bring something new to the MCU once again. There has been no confirmation whether this will be a limited series or lead to more seasons, but based on the idea of the episodes cutting between Jennifer Walters’ life as a lawyer and a green superhero, there is certainly plenty of scope.

She-Hulk Will Hit Disney+ Late Summer or Fall And Explain More About Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk

     Marvel Studios

At this week’s Disney Investor Day, Disney CEO Bob Chapek confirmed that She-Hulk will be coming to Disney+ later in the year, after the arrival of Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel. As one of the most anticipated releases coming to Disney+ this year, She-Hulk will tell the origin story of New York lawyer Walters, and how an accident leads to her requiring a blood transfusion, which comes from her cousin, Bruce Banner. Thanks to the new blood in her veins, Walters begins to develop her own watered-down Hulk abilities from cousin Bruce, and that is only going to be the start of her problems.

The need for Walters to receive a blood transfusion from Banner could be what leads the Avenger to give up his Professor Hulk persona and return to human form, probably to the suppressed anger of the Hulk. After appearing in the first trailer in his Professor Hulk form, but then in human form in the post credit scene of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, there are a lot of questions about Banner’s status which will likely be answered by the She-Hulk series, especially with the inclusion of The Abomination in the show. There are many rumors about the future of Banner’s Hulk, and this could be the start of something big coming for the MCU’s green giant.
