Let’s-a go! JAKKS Pacific has announced a new toy line for the highly anticipated film from Illumination and Nintendo, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, arriving in North American theaters on April 7, 2023, and in Japan on April 28, 2023.
From JAKKS Pacific, look forward to The Super Mario Bros. Movie-inspired posable figures, accessories, playsets, plush, and a super cool RC coming to shelves and online in North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa on February 26, 2023, in advance of the film’s theatrical release. The Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Toys, Hardlines & Publishing, Universal Products & Experiences, Joe Lawandus, said in a press release, “In partnership with Illumination and Nintendo, we have enjoyed collaborating with JAKKS Pacific to launch an all-new line of toys for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. We’re as excited as the fans for the film’s release and can’t wait for their reaction to our line of film-inspired toys.”

To the Movies) from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Illuminations’s Minions: The Rise of Gru), the film stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
The film is produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. The film is co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
