He’s rough, he’s tough, and he’s almost ready to rumble! The anticipated new series, Rubble and Crew, is ready to hit the network on Feb. 3. The show is a spinoff of the Nickelodeon smash hit, PAW Patrol! A clip of the new series featuring Rubble’s family team can be viewed below as well as a synopsis.
Rubble & Crew is the next step in the enormous PAW Patrol franchise from Nickelodeon. Premiering in 2013, PAW Patrol follows the titular team of emergency pups as they use their skills and teamwork to save the citizens of Adventure Bay. Each pup is based on a different profession, such as the police, firefighter, water rescue, and more. The team is led by Ryder, the ten-year-old genius who trained the pups and built their unique tech!
Rubble is on the double in high-stakes adventures in Nickelodeon’s brand-new animated preschool series, Rubble & Crew, premiering Friday, Feb. 3, at 11:30 a.m. (ET/PT). Produced by Spin Master Entertainment, the PAW Patrol spinoff centers on fan-favorite character Rubble, following him and his pup family as they use their awesome construction vehicles to build and repair whatever the town of Builder Cove needs.
MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY
Since its big debut, PAW Patrol has aired in over a hundred countries and is still running strong; currently on its ninth season and was renewed for a tenth early last year. In 2021, PAW Patrol: The Movie had its theatrical and streaming debut, becoming a box office success and bringing in $144 million worldwide.
Rubble On the Double!
Rubble & Crew
Rubble was introduced right from the start of PAW Patrol, but his origins are particularly special. The episode “Pups Get a Rubble” reveals that the little bulldog is the youngest member of the crew. The episode follows the team as they rescue Rubble from a tree and make him a part of the team. While the episode does not go too deep into where Rubble came from beforehand, it looks like we might get a few answers in this new series!
The first episode of Rubble & Crew drops on Feb. 3 and is titled “The Crew Builds a Bridge.” In the episode, we’ll follow Rubble’s colorful family as they get ready to build a bridge. But when the villainous Speed Meister tries to change those plans, Rubble and his family change course to save the day. Speed Meister is an old foe from PAW Patrol.
These pups just won’t quit, not with a show still running and a spinoff ready to premiere. There is also a second movie on the way, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, which is set to release in October 2023. The film is set to bring back a mix of old and new voice actors. With all these announcements, it looks like the sky’s the limit for Nickelodeon and its starring pups.
Rubble and Crew is set to run for 26 episodes and will air regularly on Fridays at 11:30 AM [ET/PT] on Nickelodeon.
