You can explore the life of one of the greatest rappers of all time on DVD and Blu-ray this April. Notorious will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 21. The film will be released in a barebones single-disc edition ($29.98 SRP), a three-disc Collector’s Edition ($34.98 SRP) and the Blu-ray edition ($39.99 SRP). All editions of the film will come with both the theatrical cut and director’s cut, which includes six additional minutes. The film stars Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, Anthony Mackie and Jamal Woolard as Christopher Wallace, a.k.a. the Notorious B.I.G.
Chronicling the extraordinary life of Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, Notorious follows the young rapper from the tough streets of Brooklyn to the heights of superstardom as he juggles the increasing demands of fatherhood, marriage and a music career. Amid chaos and controversy, Biggie’s remarkable talent and fierce determination help to solidify his legacy as one of hip-hop’s greatest MCs.
