The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has dropped on Disney+. While fans are only going to be treated to six episodes by the conclusion of the series, so far, it has been absolutely everything that audiences could have ever hoped for. The long-awaited return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader has been nearly two decades in the making and has been both actors’ first return to the franchise in as many years. So far in the series, fans have been treated to more content and backstory than they ever could have hoped for, and there is still more to come.
While audiences can hope and pray that the second season of Obi-Wan Kenobi will be coming at some point in the future, there’s still ample opportunity for other canon Star Wars characters to make appearances in the show. So far, we’ve been treated to showings from Senator Organa, C3PO and R2D2, and even little Princess Leia, but there are plenty of others who could turn up, especially from the Clone Wars animated series. Obi-Wan and Anakin were the main characters of the show. Still, the plethora of creatures and characters introduced in the series could easily find their way into Obi-Wan Kenobi. Here are the ones we’re holding out hope for.
MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY
Ahsoka Could Appear but Is Unlikely
It isn’t likely, but we can still dream. Fans of the Clone Wars series will be incredibly familiar with Ahsoka as she was the tertiary character behind Obi-Wan and Anakin, serving as Anakin’s padawan learner. Sadly, after being falsely accused of a crime that she didn’t commit and being turned on by the Jedi Order, Ahsoka left the temple in order to make her own path in the galaxy.
While most people would consider this a perfect reason for Ahsoka to turn up in the live-action series (and ordinarily, it would), fans of the other Star Wars animated show, Rebels, know why it’s doubtful we’ll get an appearance from Ahsoka. During a particular episode of the series, Ahsoka returns to confront Anakin as Darth Vader, and the two square off against each other, much like Vader and Obi-Wan did in episode three of the live-action show. The moment was the first time that Ahsoka and Anakin ever crossed lightsabers and the scene ended with fences still being unmended.

So, while Ahsoka obviously has unfinished business with Vader, the emotional impact of bringing Anakin’s former padawan into the fray this far into the series would take away from the emotional investment the audience currently has in Obi-Wan Kenobi. And that’s the last thing fans want to happen to the titular character, especially since Ahsoka is getting her own live-action Disney+ series.
Quinlan Vos Has Been Mentioned in Obi-Wan Kenobi
This character is far more likely to show up, mainly because his name has already been mentioned in the series. Most standard Star Wars fans might not recognize this name, but die-hard fans will know the character from his brief appearance in Clone Wars. Quinlan Voss was a former member of the Jedi Order, just like Obi-Wan and Yoda, but he had a particular skill in tracking. In fact, he was so in touch with the Force and his tracking skills that he could use the Force to tell where a person had been. This ability made him a Jedi of great renown and a heavy target for the Inquisitors following Order 66.

However, if fans think it would be unlikely to see another Jedi appear in the series, think again. As stated before, Quinlan has already been mentioned in the series. In the third episode, Obi-Wan and Leia are helped by a woman named Tala, who is working secretly to help save Jedi in hiding. When she escorts Obi-Wan and Leia to her safe house, Obi-Wan notices a marking on the wall with Quinlan’s name, and Tala mentions that he helps her as often as he can. We don’t know about you, but after Obi-Wan got his butt handed to him by Vader, it sure seems like he could use some help from a Jedi who isn’t quite so rusty.
Cad Bane Has a Score to Settle
A shot in the dark, but if anybody could hit a shot in the dark, it’s Cad Bane. The notorious bounty hunter is one of the most well-known characters from the Clone Wars series. He has become a fan favorite despite his merciless attitude and nature simply because he’s so sufficient at what he does. He might be a ruthless killer, but people respect him because he’s so good at it.
The character already made his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett. However, most fans felt that the character wasn’t given the proper justice he deserved for his first live-action appearance. While it’s unlikely that Vader would bother bringing in another bounty hunter to take down Kenobi when he already has the Inquisitors, it could still be possible to see him. After all, the last we saw of Bane in the Clone Wars series was when Kenobi outsmarted him and managed to get the bounty hunter sent off to prison. Bane holds grudges, so news of Kenobi being alive would definitely reach his ears. Perhaps that’s a storyline for a potential season 2.
