Stephen Lang is appreciated by horror fans for his acclaimed role in the hit movie Don’t Breathe. The film, directed by Fede Alvarez, featured Lang as an elderly blind man whose home is targeted by burglars only for them to find themselves trapped and hunted in his booby-trapped house. It was met with widespread praise from fans and critics and firmly established Lang as a favorite in the genre. More recently, Lang would reprise his role as the blind man for the 2021 sequel Don’t Breathe 2.

Lang’s work also includes a notable villain role in the Avatar franchise. After appearing in the original movie, Lang will return in the upcoming sequel Avatar: The Way of Water. The actor has teased that his return in the new movie will have Miles Quaritch serving as a bigger threat than ever.

“He’s bigger, he’s bluer, he’s p*ssed off," Lang told Empire. “There may possibly be an aspect of humility. When you take two Na’vi arrows in the chest, that’s gonna have some kind of effect on you.”

Old Man will be released in theaters, VOD, and Digital on Oct. 14, 2022.
