Warner Premiere will debut Justice League: Doom, the latest adventure in their DC Universe animated series on Blu-ray and DVD February 28. Like all the past DC Universe adventures, Justice League: Doom stars a talented ensemble of voice actors, including Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum. The actor voices The Flash, a role he is reprising from the 2001 animated series Justice League. Before the dust has settled from the success of Midnight Mass, the streaming service has announced today that they are working with the filmmaker again for The Fall of the House of Usher. The new series will be based on the works of the famous author, Edgar Allan Poe! While it takes its name from one particular short story from Poe, the series will adapt several of the author’s literary works....

MTV has signed on reality veteran The Real World for four more seasons. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the order will extend the 17-year-old docudrama from Bunim-Murray Prods. to an incredible 26 cycles. MTV also is ordering another four rounds of Bunim-Murray’s The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, bringing the competition series to 21 cycles. The deal was brokered by Gil Goldschein, who has been promoted to president of Bunim-Murray. The current season of “The Real World: Brooklyn” will air its finale Wednesday, and producers are shooting the next round, “The Real World: Cancun....
The Neil Gaiman-penned comic book series, Sandman, considered a seminal work in the medium, is in the early stages of being developed into a TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Warner Bros. TV is in the midst of acquiring television rights from sister company DC Entertainment and in talks with several writer-producers about adapting the 1990s comic. At the top of the list is Eric Kripke, creator of the CW’s horror-tinged Supernatural....

Nick Cannon’s 5-month-old son Zen has passed away. Cannon personally shared the heartbreaking news through tears on Tuesday’s Nick Cannon Show, in which he noted that his son had a brain tumor. The actor said Zen died on Sunday and that he was dedicating the show to him as he works through his grieving. The star-studded lineup has been revealed for PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, the second feature film from the animated series following 2021’s PAW Patrol: The Movie. Announced by Spin Master Entertainment, Nickelodeon Movies, and Paramount Pictures, the cast is revealed to include a mix of new and returning stars. The announcement comes ahead of the movie’s theatrical debut, scheduled for Oct. 13, 2023. The CGI animated film will be released exclusively in theaters, a change from PAW Patrol: The Movie, which had a day-and-date release with Paramount+....
Don’t call Prey a prequel; it’s been here for years. At least, according to Prey director Dan Trachtenberg who has now explained in an interview with SFX Magazine why the upcoming Predator prequel is anything but. While Prey has been described as a prequel by many different media outlets (including ourselves), the filmmaker has now clarified why this is not the case. Not exactly, anyway. So, while Prey will take place long before the first Predator movie, it is not a prequel to that franchise outing as such....
Even though the writer’s strike is finally over, studios are moving forward with extreme caution on future projects. According to Variety, due to the tension of the lingering SAG agreement, most studios are refusing to schedule new start dates on films that can’t complete shooting by June 30th. Transformers 2 director Michael Bay said that the sequel is still recovering from the writer’s strike, and that he’s trying to catch-up with his trio of writers, Ehren Kruger, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci....
