After the debut of the scripted series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story with Evan Peters as the notorious serial killer, Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for a new docuseries about Jeffrey Dahmer. Called Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes, the series has a similar premise to Netflix’s previous Conversations with a Killer docs that focused on Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy. This time, viewers will get the full story of Dahmer’s crimes as told by the cannibalistic murderer himself in three 60-minute episodes....

The first look at Timothee Chalamet as eccentric chocolate factory owner Willy Wonka was revealed last year, gaining a mixed response online from fans of the previous big-screen iterations of Roald Dahl’s famous creation. Now a new set of images and videos taken in Oxford, England, have given another good look at Chalamet’s interpretation of Wonka as he continues filming on the prequel movie of the same name. Wonka will follow the character in the years before he settles into his most famous role as the reclusive owner of a wondrous factory and provides a brand-new backstory to the known world of Wonka....

Starz announced today that the network has issued a two-season renewal for Outlander Season 5 and Season 6, while also revealing that Season 4, which is currently in production, will debut in November. While no exact date in November has been revealed for the premiere date yet, the network did unveil new photos offering fans’ first look at Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in this upcoming season. Here’s what Starz CEO Chris Albrecht had to say in a statement about the renewal....

With the Sonic the Hedgehog movies making big bucks at the box office and a new Super Mario Bros. film coming to theaters this winter, another classic video game character wants to get in on the fun. Per The Hollywood Reporter, it has been announced that a new live-action movie based on Pac-Man is now in development. The project is a collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment and Wayfarer Studios. It will be produced by Justin Baldoni, Manu Gargi, and Andrew Calof of Wayfarer Studios alongside Chuck Williams and Tim Kwok for Lightbeam Entertainment....

Having sped past the $500 million mark in just one week, Top Gun: Maverick continues to break box office records worldwide. The film is already Tom Cruise’s highest-grossing domestic release and is on track to be his all-time best performing film as well. Top Gun: Maverick is also Paramount Pictures’ best box-office entry in a decade, but a new lawsuit aims to derail the studio’s resounding success. Tony Scott’s 1986 classic Top Gun was inspired by Ehud Yonay’s article Top Guns, published in California magazine three years prior....

Korean director Park Chan-wook has, per NY Times, become one of the most recognizable directors to come out of the peninsula country in the past few decades. His films have been adored not only by the critics and cinephiles at Cannes Film Festival, but also by fans globally. He first came to prominence in his home country with the release of his 2000 film Joint Security Area, which featured many of the actors he would later work with in The Vengeance Trilogy....

Peter Dinklage made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Eitri the Dwarf in Avengers: Infinity War, and while he served a very necessary purpose in that movie it looks like there is every chance we will see him returning again in Thor: Love and Thunder. The Game of Thrones star recently stirred speculation about his MCU future while appearing on the Empire Film Podcast and seemingly making sure he mentioned Thor 4 for no particular reason other than to make sure that he mentioned it....

Walt Disney Pictures is reporting a $126.5 million gross for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End this weekend. The Monday totals are not yet available, but the film is looking to break the four-day memorial weekend record. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End is the 53rd Walt Disney film to break through the $100 million barrier. The film is poised to have the biggest worldwide opening ever. It has already accumulated $332 million throughout the globe in just five days....

The USA Network announced they are renewing Psych for Season 7. Stars James Roday (who is looking for a belt; can you help him?) and Dulé Hill shared the news with their fans through a special video, which you can watch below. USA Network’s favorite faux psychic and his best friend, along with Santa Barbara’s finest, are back in business as Psych, starring James Roday and Dulé Hill, has been renewed for a seventh season....

Now that “The Black Hood” made himself public last week the entire town of Riverdale is on alert. People are walking around in groups instead of being alone, shops are closing earlier, and residents are fortifying their houses with better locks. The mayor is even calling a town meeting to address the threat in Chapter Seventeen: The Town That Dreaded Sundown. All the while our resident narrator Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) is in the library, checking out books on serial killers, so he can do his own research to locate this criminal....

According to Home Media Retailing, Lionsgate has some pretty interesting ideas for the upcoming DVD release of their comedy, Waiting. For starters, Lionsgate is going to have the actors doing a commentary track that is “superimposed” over the film. Viewers will be able to access this and a bevy of other supplemental materials by “clicking” on a “hotdog” icon that will appear throughout the movie. According to Lionsgate brand manager, Tim Pruitt, “We felt [ Waiting…] is a movie like Clerks and Office Space with a cult following, and we wanted to do something that would capitalize on that… because there are so many underlining jokes and the cast is so funny, there is a ton of [bonus material] to keep you entertained....

Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures are moving forward with a sequel to Clash of the Titans, however Louis Leterrier will not be returning as director. Sam Worthington and every character who survived will return for the sequel. Greg Berlanti will write the story and Warner Bros. is looking for a director to get the project rolling to release as early as spring 2012. Leterrier will executive produce....

Aaron Sorkin’s new film Being the Ricardos has arrived with Nicole Kidman garnering some Oscar buzz with her role as Lucille Ball. While Ball’s daughter, Lucie Arnaz, was happy with Kidman’s casting, she was not the original choice. Earlier in the biopic’s development, Cate Blanchett was attached to star as the I Love Lucy star. Arnaz had been fully on board with Blanchett’s casting as her late mother, and as she now tells the New York Times, she describes feeling “devastated” over the actress exiting the project....

Robert Rodriguez is an extremely busy man. Not only is he the featured guitarist in the band Chingon, whom recently performed at the SXSW Interactive Festival, he is also launching his own animation studio, Quickdraw Animation, his own Latino themed network El Rey, and he will direct two feature films before the year is over. In April, Robert Rodriguez will reteam with Danny Trejo for the long talked about sequel Machete Kills....

Fans of the video game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune are up-in-arms in regards to the casting being done on David O. Russell’s upcoming big screen adaptation of the property. They are calling the rumored casting of Mark Wahlberg in the lead a blasphemous act, with quite a few claiming they will ban the project all together if Russell doesn’t replace Wahlberg with Nathan Fillion. One enraged fan even accosted Russell as he was exiting a movie theater, crying out all the reasons why the acclaimed director was making a mistake in casting Wahlberg, and why Fillion, who many believe the video game was modeled after, is the only choice for the role....

Marvel producer Richie Palmer has teased the eventual return of the elite super-group The Illuminati. Despite the fact that they were all rather unceremoniously killed by The Scarlet Witch during the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Palmer explains to The Direct that, thanks to the multiverse, it would not be difficult to bring the superhero team back. So, Richie Palmer makes it clear that The Illuminati introduced in the Doctor Strange sequel are not the version of the group that would be considered the “main” MCU version....

In another change of plan for Marvel Studios, it looks like the Don Cheadle-led Armor Wars will no longer be heading to Disney+ as a series but will now be a theatrically released movie. As revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, the return of Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes aka War Machine is now expected to be dropped down the Marvel slate of movies, but it looks like Yassir Lester will still be on board to write the project....

Deadline Hollywood is reporting Matt Damon has just signed on to star in the Robert F. Kennedy biopic at New Regency to be directed by Gary Ross. The film will be based off the Evan Thomas biography, “Robert Kennedy: His Life.” Here is how the book is described by the publisher, Simon & Schuster. Steven Knight will be adapting Thomas’ book for Ross to direct. It was also noted that the film will track his ascension from little brother to President Kennedy to a leader of his own before his assassination in 1968....
