Spoiler Warning: Locke & Key Our last ride with the Locke family is coming soon to Netflix. The third and final season of Locke & Key is set to drop on the streamer on August 10. Just like the first, the second season finale saw the characters seemingly defeat Dodge and return to everyday life. Obviously, it couldn’t be that simple. The finale’s last moments saw the Revolutionary War-era Captain Fredrick Gideon return as a likely third-season antagonist....

The Looney Tunes are coming back in arguably the best possible way. Warner Bros. Animation is creating a new series of short-form cartoons featuring the likes of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and many more in what will harken back to the original shorts. There is currently no word on when the new shorts will first make their debut, but the studio intends to release the new Looney Tunes cartoons across various platforms including digital, mobile and via broadcast....

The hit NBC sitcom Mad About You is gearing up for a new present-day revival, bringing back stars Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt to reprise their roles as Paul Buchman and Jamie Stemple Buchman, respectively. Paul Reiser, who also co-created the hit sitcom with Danny Jacobson, is reportedly “leading the charge” to get this revival off the ground, although reps for Sony declined to comment. Paul Reiser himself hinted that a revival may happen earlier this year, while doing press for Stranger Things Season 2....

Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen has provided a pretty big WandaVision update. The live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe show was officially announced at the Disney+ launch a few weeks ago, along with the Loki show and Falcon & Winter Soldier. Avengers: Endgame is about to hit theaters and fans are already starting to look forward to what comes next in the MCU’s Phase 4 and beyond. With that being said, it’s beginning to look like the small screen may provide some significant projects to look forward to while Phase 4 slowly starts to come together....

Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures have handed out Summer 2014 release dates for two upcoming movies, although the studios aren’t saying which movies have landed the release dates yet. The first unspecified project will be released on May 16, 2014, just two weeks after The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and the second unknown project will be released on June 27, 2014. In related news, Pixar has followed suit and issued a May 30, 2014 for one of its unspecified animated projects....

NBC’s popular daytime drama Passions welcomes The Biggest Loser couple Matt Hoover (Season 2 winner) and Suzy Preston (Season 2 finalist) as they make their acting debut Thursday, March 16 (2 p.m. ET on most NBC stations, check local listings). Hoover and Preston, who taped their scenes on the Passions set in Studio City, California on Friday, February 3, portray a romantic couple hopelessly in love and enjoying an evening stroll through Harmony....

Watching The Batman may be a bit more unsettling than it usually is watching Batman movies. Set to finally be released in theaters in March, The Batman will debut Robert Pattinson as a new incarnation of the character set in its own standalone universe. Given the immense excitement that already surrounds its release, the movie will more than likely be a huge hit, and a new franchise feels all but inevitable....

NBC has added Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - the new backstage television drama series from Emmy Award-winning executive producers Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme (both for NBC’s The West Wing) – to its Fall 2006-07 primetime schedule, it was announced by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment. “Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme’s work is TV at its best and ‘Studio 60’ lives up to that standard,” said Reilly. “I’m thrilled they are back on NBC for the Fall....

In what is being looked at as a very positive side effect for Visual Entertainment and Xenon Pictures, the May 1st “Day Without an Immigrant” boycott has prompted renewed interest in their film A Day Without a Mexican. According to Home Media Retailing, the companies “discounted the $14.99 DVD to retailers at a 15% discount through May 5 (Cinco de Mayo).” The filmmakers Yareli Arizmendi who “co-wrote” the movie “with husband and director Sergio Arau - is receiving upwards of 100 e-mails daily with requests to re-release the film in theaters and screen it on university campuses and agricultural communities, and for other organizations....

Get ready to meet Eddie Murphy’s new slew of characters on DVD and Blu-Ray this November. Meet Dave will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 25. The standard disc will be priced at $29.98 SRP while the Blu-Ray disc will go for $39.99 SRP. The film stars Eddie Murphy, Gabrielle Union, Elizabeth Banks and Ed Helms. There’s something that makes Dave stand out from everyone else in New York City....

Melissa Leo has signed on for the indie drama Betty Ann Waters, joining Hilary Swank, Minnie Driver and Sam Rockwell. According to Variety, production started this week in Ann Arbor, Mich., on the pic, produced by Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Omega Entertainment. Tony Goldwyn directs from a script rewritten by Richard LaGravenese from Pamela Gray’s original screenplay. Andy Karsch, Andrew Sugarman and Goldwyn are producing. Betty Ann Waters centers on an unemployed single mother who saw her brother begin serving a life sentence in 1983 for murder and robbery....

We reported a few weeks back that Sam and Dean Winchester’s grandfather will return to the series and now that news has been confirmed along with new details on his return. Ausiello Files, which broke the original story, has confirmed that Mitch Pileggi will return to Supernatural in their upcoming sixth season as Joseph Campbell, grandfather to Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). The site confirmed Pileggi’s return to the show with Supernatural showrunner Sera Gamble, who also shed some light on the character’s return....

When it comes to Marvel Studios’ Disney+ shows, Kevin Feige and his massive ensemble of directors, writers, producers and actors have all managed to bring something different to the table, whether it is in terms of tone, genre, or story. With Moon Knight arriving imminently, the series will bring both a new supernatural element to the MCU, boundary-pushing levels of violence, and consistently longer episode runtimes than other Marvel series. Executive producer Grant Curtis recently explained why it was essential to notch up the episode length a little to tell the story they have to tell....

Marvel’s Moon Knight wrapped up its sensational first season this past Wednesday. Marc, Steven, and Layla (with a little help from third personality Jake Lockley) were able to defeat Arthur Harrow and his followers of Ammit. With Khonshu playing a role in the fight, they were able to save most of the world from having their souls judged and possibly taken from them. A new direction from Marvel, dealing with one of their darker and lesser-known heroes, along with deep themes of mental health, Moon Knight entertains some of the better scores and ratings so far for Marvel television shows, with an 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7....

Art imitates life, and that includes when life comes to an end. Movies are chock-full of tragic deaths and valiant deaths and the deaths of many Disney mothers (seriously, Disney, why?). While some deaths simply serve the purpose of working for the plot or showing the defeat of a great evil, some deaths mean much more than that. Plenty of movies and shows take the opportunity to teach something centered around the theme of death....

NBC today announced its new mid-season 2012 schedule which features the premieres of four new series in Smash (February 6), The Firm (two-hour premiere January 8, time slot premiere January 12), Fashion Star (March 13) and Are You There, Chelsea? (January 11). The new lineup also includes the return of The Voice, 30 Rock, The Celebrity Apprentice and Who Do You Think You Are? In addition, there are day and time period changes for Whitney, Up All Night, Rock Center with Brian Williams and Harry’s Law...

The Good Clint Eastwood and the rest of the cast make this show shine. The Bad Very sparse extras. City Slickers this isn’t. Clint Eastwood starred on this show for eight seasons as Rowdy Yates. While Eric Fleming as Gil Favor was the boss on the trail, I think that it was readily apparent that Eastwood was the driving force behind Rawhide. These two men led a cattle drive that brought them face to face with many different kinds of adventures....
