The Loki solo series on Disney+ has found its director, as Kate Herron has officially signed on to take the helm of the project. Herron’s reveal as director came straight from Kevin Feige at the Disney+ panel at the D23 Expo, with head writer Michael Waldron also joining the two on the stage. While this will be Herron’s first foray into superhero-based projects, Disney and Marvel clearly see potential in Herron’s vision for the series....

Marry Me is a 2022 rom-com that perfectly combines a touching love story with a soundtrack packed with songs fit to be on any radio station. This film was directed by Kat Coiro and based on a graphic novel by Bobby Crosby, which was adapted to film by John Rogers, Tami Sagher, and Harper Dill. The Toronto International Film Festival 2022 has come to a close, and one of the films that premiered at the event is Michael Grandage’s LGBTQ+ romantic drama My Policeman, an adaptation of Bethan Robert’s 2012 novel of the same name. The story focuses on three characters and their perspectives: closeted gay policeman Tom Burgess, his wife Marion Taylor, and Tom’s lover Patrick Hazelwood, in 1950s England where same-sex relationships are still illegal and punishable by imprisonment....

ABC’s hit series Once Upon a Time descended upon the D23 Expo today, with creators/executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz revealing new details about the upcoming Season 7. While no footage was shown during the panel, the creators revealed two photos featuring new series regular Dania Ramirez, who is portraying the new Cinderella, the wife of adult Henry (Andrew J. West) and the mother of Lucy (Alison Fernandez). Since there has already been a Cinderella on the show, portrayed by Jessy Schram, the creators also explained why this new Cinderella has come to be....

An official poster for Obi-Wan Kenobi has been released courtesy of Disney, featuring the recognizable visage of iconic Star Wars villain Darth Vader. Alongside the poster, a dramatic still from the ongoing Disney+ series has also been unveiled, featuring Vader and his former friend and mentor Obi-Wan once again clashing lightsabers. Details of the next (no doubt delightful) Pixar outing have now been revealed. Set for release in 2023, Disney and Pixar will once again endear audiences with Elemental, another original vision from the celebrated animation studio. Revealed by the studio via Twitter, Elemental is slated for release in summer 2023, with the official title and some concept art teasing yet another Pixar triumph. The concept art clearly teases more of the detail and genius world-building that Pixar is well-known for with the likes of Toy Story, Monsters Inc....
