Films like Memento, American Psycho, Amores perros and more took the viewer into the minds of the characters and showed us the darker sides of humanity. Some say Requiem For A Dream has haunted them since they experienced it. 22 years later Lionsgate is releasing Requiem For A Dream, the Darren Aronofsky psychological drama, boasting an ensemble cast including Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and Ellen Burstyn, along with Marlon Wayans, portraying unforgettable charcacters in striking circumstances....

Justin Roiland will be leaving Rick and Morty as felony charges against the voice actor and co-creator became public this past month. Rick and Morty will go on, but Adult Swim will no longer associate itself with Roiland. He was charged with one count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud, or deceit in Orange County. The incident occurred in 2020 with an unnamed Jane Doe that Roiland was dating....

From his recent posts, it is hard to tell whether fans of Percy Jackson or Jackson’s creator Rick Riordan himself is more excited for the upcoming Disney+ series based on the best-selling novels about the 12-year-old boy who discovers that his father is Poseidon and he is a demigod. Horror legend Robert Englund made a special appearance in Stranger Things 4, playing the murderous character Victor Creel. He was certainly an interesting character, but he wasn’t featured for very long, leaving many questions about Victor left unanswered. The Freddy Krueger actor believes Victor felt so remorseful that he couldn’t save his family that he blinded himself as a result, feeling too “blind” to see the dangers posed to his family until it was too late....

Director Guillermo del Toro’s new journey to Middle Earth is still in the casting stage and one actor recently revealed he tried out for the director. We reported a few days ago that NBC was considering moving The Jay Leno Show out of primetime and now the network has made up its mind. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC Universal TV chairman Jeff Gaspin has confirmed its plans to move The Jay Leno Show back to the 11:30 PM timeslot. It was said that the network asked Leno to host a half-hour program, which would be followed by an hour-long The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and the hour-long Late Night with Jimmy Fallon....

NBC has picked up Robinson Crusoe, a drama series based on Daniel Defoe’s classic novel, with a 13-episode order, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The trade paper reports that Robinson Crusoe came out of an unorthodox brainstorming idea of NBC’s new chief, Ben Silverman, who had asked his development team to generate a list of the most engaging stories ever told – everything from The Last of the Mohicans to Sleeping Beauty....

Netflix has released a new trailer for Ratched. This original series has a great many layers to it. First off, it’s the latest from American Horror Story creator, Ryan Murphy, who developed the show with his frequent collaborator Ian Brennan. The suspenseful drama series tells the origin story of nurse Mildred Ratched, who movie lovers will know from the 1975 cinematic classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
