Starting with the 2007-08 season, ABC will begin airing the 48 remaining original episodes of the hit drama Lost, it was announced by Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. The episodes will air uninterrupted over three seasons (16 episodes each season), with the series concluding in 2009-10 with a highly anticipated and shocking finale. “In considering the powerful storytelling of Lost, we felt this was the only way to give it a proper creative conclusion,” said McPherson....

M. Night Shyamalan has not been known for his adaptations of other writer’s work, but it seems that after much speculation Knock at the Cabin is actually based on a much-loved horror novel by Paul Tremblay. According to Tremblay himself, the new chiller from the director of Old and The Sixth Sense is adapted from the novel The Cabin at the End of the World, and while it will obviously feature some changes and the usual host of Shyamalan surprises, this is one of the directors’ unusual forays into working with someone else’s original storyline....

After heading back to the Quick Stop with Dante and Randal in Clerks III, Kevin Smith could next be returning to the mall with T.S. and Brodie. For years, Smith has teased his desire to make a sequel to Mallrats, his follow-up to Clerks that was released in theaters in 1995. By 2020, Smith said he was picking back up with his work on the sequel, which he dubbed Twilight of the Mallrats....

Since Spider-Man: Far From Home was released as a direct follow-up to Avengers: Endgame, there has been much speculation about the point of the Phase 4 Marvel slate. While Kevin Feige has previously commented that the last two years have been about new beginnings, and that seems to fit with many new characters being introduced and well-established characters appearing to be going along new paths. Now Marvel producer Richie Palmer has added another level to the purpose of Phase 4, and it will likely make 2022 and 2023’s releases make a little more sense....

Marvel’s…What If? is teasing Zombie Captain America and T’Challa as Star-Lord in new leaked images. It’s been an exciting few months for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. In July, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige dominated San Diego Comic-Con with an avalanche of announcements and then did the exact same thing at the D23 Expo last month. In the mid-1920’s, an up-and-coming young animator had a brief encounter with an up-and-coming child star. Although they only met in passing, Mickey Rooney remembers Walt Disney as “a very charming man.” More than 50 years later, in 1981, Rooney would find himself starring in one of Walt Disney Studios’ most beloved animated films, The Fox and the Hound. Marvel Studios and Disney have launched an official website dedicated to the fictional AvengerCon event featured in the show Ms. Marvel. In the series, Kamala, an Avengers fan, but especially of Carol Danvers, sneaks out of the house to visit the convention and participates in a cosplay competition. The event represents the fan-following that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has in the real world. Just like Kamala, the real world is full of fans who see these conventions as a way to celebrate their enthusiasm for the heroes....

MythBusters will explode back on to Science Channel this fall with all-new episodes and an all new-team. Brian Louden and Jon Lung, who earned the right to be called MythBusters by displaying killer build skills and science smarts during MythBusters: The Search, will showcase their awesome talents by building and executing new experiments involving rocket powered swords, exploding gas tanks, airbag disasters and more. During the summer of 2020, comedy venues across the nation were shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, SNL alum Norm Macdonald decided to prepare an hour’s worth of stand-up material, done in a single take while at home, and named it Norm Macdonald: Nothing Special. It would be his last gift of comedy to a world in dire need of laughter. Macdonald died on September 14, 2021. He was 61....

Today in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, the new Sonic Screwdriver Fan Collectible was revealed for the U.S. - a replica of what the 13th Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker, will use in the new series of Doctor Who. Designer Arwel Wyn Jones talked through the new Sonic. Produced by Seven20, the new, electronic 7.4" Thirteenth Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Fan Collectible is an authentic replica of the Doctor’s device. Once in a while a film comes around that is so challenging to make and the subject so difficult to capture on film that the mere fact the movie is made at all could be considered a triumph. But that being said, if the film is also completely captivating, tells a moving story and makes you believe that you are watching real events unfold in real-time, then you really have achieved something amazing on film....

Go behind the scenes of the real-life football drama We Are Marshall tells the tragic story of the 1970 Marshall University football program, and the following year of the 1971 season. November 14, 1970, Marshall University played a game against East Carolina University. On the flight back home to West Virginia, the plane crashed killing all 75 people, including 37 members of the team and staff. After the crash, the school had to make a decision whether to continue with the program or not....

Despite the countless Game of Thrones spinoff rumors and announcements, it appears that only one spinoff, a prequel produced by Jane Goldman, is currently being developed. The spinoff is set to air after the conclusion of the main Game of Thrones story. Since 2011, the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s original story has skyrocketed in popularity. While the final season of the original show is set to air in the first half of 2019, it is hard to imagine that HBO would not be looking to further capitalize on the story of Westeros, especially with so much rich history and lore to explore....

Police announced they have found Dennis Day’s body nearly a year after he went missing. In April of this year, a body was discovered on Day’s property, but it was badly decomposed and authorities could not identify that it was him until now. Day was an original member of Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club and starred on the show from 1955 to 1957. The 76-year old actor has done a number of things since being a Mouseketeer, but mainly worked with local theaters in Oregon where he coached actors....

The Good I think it is good that producers and TV networks are trying to cover the Iraq war with fictional shows like this. The Bad At the end of the day, this show really just looked like people playing with guns on a movie set in the desert. Over There is an interesting show especially considering it’s TV run. Creators Steven Bochco and Chris Gerolmo were going up against staggering odds when they made this series, simply because they were presenting a fictional account of a war that is top news on CNN, FOX and every other outlet....
