With her infamous scandal firmly in her past, Lori Loughlin could become “America’s Sweetheart” once again as the face of the TV network Great American Family. Previously, the network has picked up the rights to air Full House and Fuller House, both of which feature Loughlin in her memorable role as Aunt Becky. Meanwhile, her co-stars Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber have already been working on new holiday movies for the network....

Last month, Marvel Television confirmed its plans for Comic-Con 2016, which includes the upcoming Netflix series Luke Cage, ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a panel on Marvel Animation. For those looking forward to Luke Cage, which will premiere on Netflix Friday, September 30, you can pick up a special Luke Cage poster at SDCC this year by visiting the Marvel booth during the convention, which runs from July 20 through July 24....

Maggie Greene is coming back to The Walking Dead after all. Reports surfaced earlier this year that revealed actress Lauren Cohan, who portrays Maggie on the hit AMC series, didn’t have a new deal in place for next season and that negotiations were taking place, but it wasn’t looking good. However, it’s all been worked out as Cohan has revealed that she will indeed be returning for The Walking Dead season 9....

The three-disc set includes all 26 episodes from this season, and will be priced at an SRP of $39.95. The show stars Ed O’Neil, Katey Segal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino. Highlights of this season include Peggy switching seats with Al at a basketball game and ending up being chosen for the $10,000 free throw contest, while Kelly and Bud buy a car to share and then are forced to double date....

Nova, long rumored to appear at some point, will star in an upcoming project for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moon Knight scribe Sabir Pirzada will serve as the writer for the script, Deadline reports. It has not yet been revealed if the project will be a movie or television series for the Disney+ streaming service. A release date for the project is currently unknown. Like all MCU properties, the series will be produced by Kevin Feige....

The USA Network is bidding farewell to In Plain Sight with Season 5, the eight-episode final season which premieres Friday, March 16 at 10 PM ET with Episode 5.01: The Anti-Social Network. It seems that a veteran character actor could be reprising his brief guest-starring role in a popular CW series. Ausiello Files is reporting that Mitch Pileggi could return to Supernatural as the Winchester brothers’ grandfather, Samuel Campbell. Pileggi only appeared on one episode of the series, In the Beginning in Season 4, a flashback episode where Castiel (Misha Collins) sends Dean (Jensen Ackles) back to 1973 where he meets his grandfather, Samuel Campbell....

Screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski have come aboard to write Monopoly for director-producer Ridley Scott. The project had previously been set up at Universal Pictures, although the studio recently dropped the movie last month, along with another board game adaptation, Clue. Until these movies can find a studio home, Hasbro, which makes the board games, is funding the development of these projects. Back in March, Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner spoke about the story of Monopoly....

Empire has posted a brand new trailer for the Guy Ritchie movie RocknRolla, which is set to hit theaters on October 31. The film stars Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jeremy Piven and Tom Wilkinson. Check out the trailer below. Butler stars as One Two, a street-smart mobster who has learned to play both sides of the fence, and Wilkinson is playing the lethal head mobster, Lenny Cole, part of London’s old mob regime, which is quickly losing ground to the wealthier foreign mob....

Some new light has been shed on Dick Grayson’s controversial stance on Batman in the new clip from Titans. Over the summer, Grayson, aka Nightwing, said “F*ck Batman” in a trailer for the gritty take on the Teen Titans, leading many DC fans to scratch their heads and wonder just why exactly the first Robin would feel that way. However, in the latest clip from the show, Jason Todd, the new Robin, meets Grayson for the first time and reveals that he has a completely different relationship with Bruce Wayne, which causes some immediate jealousy....

One of the hottest new horror films in years will be squaring off with a horror juggernaut for box office horror supremacy next week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures will be expanding Paranormal Activity even wider next week, forcing a box-office showdown against Lionsgate’s Saw VI. Paramount had already committed to a wide release of Paranormal Activity after the film’s innovative Demand It campaign reached over 1 million fans demanding the film, which will be released in approximately 800 theaters this weekend....

Parks and Recreation has added a new nemesis for Amy Poehler’s Leslie Knoppe, bringing on comedian Jon Glaser for a recurring role in Season 5. The actor will play one of the two Pawnee City Council members we haven’t been introduced to yet, who just doesn’t like Leslie at all. Here’s what executive producer/showrunner Michael Schur had to say about the new character. The character will debut in the third episode of Season 5, along with another, much older enemy who was compared to longtime Congressman Strom Thurmond....
