Rumer Willis, the oldest daughter of Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore (G.I. Jane), has announced that she is pregnant with her first child. Willis is expecting the baby with her boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas....

Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon has deleted his social media accounts after a controversial video from 2009 was released online over the weekend. The video, which is for a pilot, shows Harmon pretending to molest a doll because his character is a “baby rapist.” The video resurfaced days after James Gunn was fired by Disney for insensitive and lewd jokes from over a decade ago and many believe that Dan Harmon could be next to lose his job....

It seems that Steve Carell’s Michael Scott could be meeting his British counterpart next season. According to Ausiello Files, Ricky Gervais, who co-created the U.K. version of The Office which lead to the American version of The Office, might reprise his role as David Brent on the NBC show. While details were scant, Gervais hinted at the return at the TCA’s, while promoting his new HBO animated series, saying he was considering doing something with the American show sometime next season....

AMC is revving up for a fifth season of the popular motorcycle travelogue Ride with Norman Reedus, featuring The Walking Dead star and motorcycle enthusiast Norman Reedus as he hits the open road with a riding companion to explore different cultures and experience the best scenery, food, nature and local activities in the US and around the world. The renewal for season five, which begins production on six episodes in early 2020, comes ahead of the show’s season four debut on Sunday, March 8 at midnight ET/11c....

Lionsgate, the leading next generation studio, announced today that it has acquired from Phoenix Pictures worldwide rights to the screen adaptation of the bestselling book What To Expect When You’re Expecting, by Heidi Murkoff. Heather Hach (Freaky Friday) will write the adapted screenplay, based on her pitch. Hach, who is nine months pregnant, was brought the book by Phoenix’s David Thwaites, who will produce alongside the company’s Mike Medavoy and Arnie Messer; Phoenix’s Doug McKay will co-produce....

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman star Dean Cain still wants to bring back the show as a revival series and has admitted he’s even been writing new episodes himself. After recently appearing to speak about the show on The Talk, Cain described how the series was cut off with a cliffhanger at the end of Season 4 due to co-star Teri Hatcher’s pregnancy at the time. This left some unanswered questions for fans after the series finale, as the show closed out with a baby being delivered to Lois and Clark’s doorstep with no explanation....

Killer doll movies have always been an excellent way to broaden the horror genre. Films like Child’s Play, Puppet Master, and Poltergeist shaped the tone for several more, including the Conjuring trilogy and Annabelle films. While Chucky has been haunting people for almost three decades, he seems to have a rival in the form of a creepy robotic doll. M3GAN, which stands for Model Three Generative Android, is a new horror thriller by James Wan and Akela Cooper....

The third season premiere of AMC’s Mad Men was a hit with viewers, drawing in an audience that was 4.5 million strong. According to Variety, the rating were so good, AMC has decided to renew the flagship series for a fourth season, which will debut in 2010. AMC’s Charlie Collier stated, “We always saw the potential for Mad Men. It’s been extremely gratifying to see the show develop in to such a pop-cultural phenomenon with such a passionate fan base....

Manifest may not have reached the end of the line after all, as creator Jeff Rake isn’t giving up in his mission to save the popular series. After three seasons on NBC, the show was officially canceled by the network earlier this month. Because of its popularity on Netflix, there had been hope that the streaming service would save the show by picking it up for a fourth season, but they opted to pass on Manifest as well....

Martin Scorsese is in talks with GK Films to direct Brian Selznick’s best-selling children’s book The Invention of Hugo Cabret set in 1930s Paris. According to Variety, the film would reunite Scorsese with his Departed producer Graham King. The story centers on a 12-year-old orphan named Hugo, who lives in a train station and must finish what his late father started by solving the mystery of a broken robot. The project would mark Scorsese’s first foray into kid lit – a genre that is attracting a number of high-profile directors including Wes Anderson (The Fantastic Mr....

Disney+ isn’t the only streaming service about to be fully loaded with Marvel TV shows directly connected to the MCU. Hulu already announced several animated series are heading our way including one devoted solely to Howard the Duck. Now it has been announced that Hulu and Marvel are moving forward on a standalone Ghost Rider series and an episodic adaptation of Helstrom. Both Ghost Rider and Helstrom will be live-action and they will debut on the streaming platform sometime in 2020, though an exact release date has yet to be announced....

Tim Connors has been named Chief Operating Officer of Marvel Studios, the Hollywood subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment, Inc. In his new role, Connors will manage Marvel Studios’ day-to-day business operations as well as oversee the business transactions for all studio productions including the anticipated releases of Iron Man 2 on May 7, 2010, Thor on July 16, 2010, The First Avenger: Captain America on May 6, 2011, The Avengers in July 15, 2011 and Ant Man....

Warner Brothers and producer Joel Silver have tapped John Stevenson to make his live-acting directing debut on the reboot of Masters of the Universe. Variety says that Stevenson (best known for directing Kung Fu Panda) will be directing a film more in line with the toy-line than the somewhat disastrous 1987 film. The script, written by Justin Marks, was acquired by Warner Brothers in 2007, and will be produced by Joel Silver, with toy-maker Mattel’s Barry Waldo as executive producer....
