For example, spaghetti Western star Clint Eastwood has eight children, most of whom are a part of the film industry in some way (like his son, and renowned actor, Scott Eastwood)....

For many critics, the America Pie franchise ran its course a long while ago, and with the last movies all coming out as straight to video offerings under the “American Pie Presents” banner, the last thing anyone expected was a new American Pie movie. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, that is what is on the cards with Sujata Day writing the script on what will be a “fresh take” on the raunchy comedy franchise....

Paramount Pictures has provided us with 3 cool new images from Transformers, arriving in theatres this Independence Day. The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Anderson, Rachael Taylor, Megan Fox, with John Turturro and Jon Voight. Although images from the movie have been previously released (which you can see in our image gallery), these new images are the first to reveal the actual robots in the film … very cool....

Speculation about the future of The Witcher following the departure of Henry Cavill has continued to rumble on since the announcement was made that Cavill would be leaving the show after the coming season. While the show is guaranteed a fourth season, and season five is thought to be shooting back to back with that, there are reportedly no plans for anything beyond that. Following the terrible reaction to The Witcher: Blood Origin, it seems that a cautious approach is being taken any possible adventures beyond the fifth season....

The Good A very funny, ensemble show from the 1990s. The Bad Packaging is misleading, doesn’t list out all the Special Features. Hard to find all the extras on all the discs. In News Radio: The Complete Fifth Season we see the final 22 episodes unfold with laughs, sadness, and miscommunication that can only occur in a communications setting. Dave Foley stars as Dave Nelson the lame duck leader of this group of radio folk that includes the likes of Jimmy James (Stephen Root), Matthew Brock (Andy Dick), Lisa Miller (Maura Tierney) and Joe Garrelli (Joe Rogan) among others....

A Scandal comes to DVD April 17. In a story from DavisDVD, it appears that Notes on a Scandal will be arriving on DVD shelves April 17 from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. Synopsis: Two women caught up in a drama of need and betrayal are at the heart of this psychological thriller, Notes on a Scandal. The twists and turns of the story are noted in the acerbic diary of Barbara Covett (Dame Judi Dench), a domineering and solitary teacher who rules with an iron fist over her classroom at a decaying state-run secondary school in London....

Olivia Munn will be appearing in the summer blockbuster Iron Man 2 but it seems her role has changed. Complex recently spoke with Munn who revealed she had to reshoot all her scenes for the film because she’s playing a different character. Here’s an excerpt from the interview. Forty-five years after the release of director Milos Forman’s 1975 Oscar-winning film, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Netflix returned to the titular nest, swapping the gloomy halls of the original Oregon hospital for an equally-dreary psychiatric ward in California (it’s always California, isn’t it?) with its 2020 prequel series, Ratched. The show was developed by Evan Romansky and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy. Romansky conceived of Ratched as something of a revisionist take on Forman’s 1975 film in that it functions as an origin story of the film’s infamous villain à la Disney’s Sleeping Beauty spinoff from 2014, Maleficent....

Paramount Pictures has picked up U.S. distribution rights for director Oren Peli’s Area 51, which is a follow up to Paranormal Activity, which Peli also wrote and directed. According to Variety, the deal puts the studio back in business with the creative and financing team behind Paranormal Activity the $11,000 film that’s grossed more than $106 million. Peli had a much larger budget to work with on this extraterrestrial tale than he did for his ghost story, as sources said he brought the film in at a shade under $5 million....

Finding out exactly what point of its development Wonder Woman 3 is right now has been almost impossible in the last year. While both star Gal Gadot and writer/director Patty Jenkins have said at irregular intervals that things are moving along, neither have gone so far as to give any specific details on the highly anticipated threequel. That is until now, where Patty Jenkins has seemed to suggest that the script for the movie is done....

Actor-director George Clooney’s new directorial effort is starting to come together, with Vulture reporting that Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti have signed on for Farragut North. George Clooney will direct from a script by Beau Willimon, who adapted his own off-Broadway play for the silver screen. It was said that George Clooney wants to start shooting the movie as early as February. The film and play are based off Willimon’s experiences working on the 2004 Howard Dean Presidential campaign....

TikTok user mandymorgue87 recently rediscovered the Canadian horror film Pin (per Dread Central), which was also titled Pin: A Plastic Nightmare. And with over 200,000 views, it’s renewed the interest of quite a few other people. At the start of the TikTok, mandymorgue87 called the film one of the weirdest horror movies she’s ever seen. Once you read the film’s summary, you’ll probably see why. Based on the 1981 novel by Andrew Neiderman, the plot concerns two isolated siblings, Leon and Ursula, who have these distant parents....

Two franchises had a next generation battle last week. In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Buena Vista Home Entertainment released Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest on Blu-ray disc May 22. Not to be outdone, Warner Bros. brought The Ultimate Matrix Collection and The Complete Matrix Trilogy out on HD-DVD that same day. During that week, consumers paid out $2 million between both those release....

The film centers on the Freeling family, a typical middle class family living in the peaceful Cuesta Verde Estates....

While HBO Max continues to pull already existing content to their upcoming streaming service, they’re adding to their original programming slate as well. Warner Bros. Television has reportedly given pilot orders to three new series for HBO Max including an hour-long drama based on the novel series previously adapted into the 1998 film Practical Magic titled Rules of Magic, as well as a half-hour drama/comedy titled Generation and the hour-long drama Red Bird Lane....
