Thanks to Disney’s Investor Day this year, there was a strong belief that Moon Knight could be leading Marvel Studios’ Disney+ charge early in 2022, and now a new rumor seems to suggest that we could be getting the series starring Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke sooner rather than later. A report by Cinema Reviewed suggested that Moon Knight is currently ahead of She-Hulk when it comes to post-production despite the latter being wrapped filming since August as opposed to Moon Knight not having completed filming until October....

New details regarding the upcoming Netflix Power Rangers reboot may have been revealed. Coming courtesy of Twitter user @Jinsakuu, and reportedly reconfirmed by The Illuminerdi, these rumored details reveal several intriguing developments in the Power Rangers movie and television universe reboot, including that it will have the same “mature” tone as the 2017 Power Rangers outing and that this new set of Rangers will not be of the Mighty Morphin’ variety....

Perhaps Jon Watts will venture into the Star Wars universe coming off of the smash success of his new film Spider-Man: No Way Home. Discussing Film recently reported that Jon Watts is in talks to direct at least one episode of an upcoming unannounced Star Wars series for Disney+. The new series also is planning to begin filming a lot sooner than expected. The unannounced series is going under the working title of Grammar Rodeo with production set to begin this Summer in Los Angeles....

Fox has made a put pilot commitment for a new Marvel action-adventure series, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. The Untitled Fox Marvel Project will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The X-Men series will be produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television, with 20th Century Fox handling physical production....

Director Guillermo del Toro is currently in the midst of production on Pacific Rim, which is working towards a May 10, 2013 release date. The filmmaker recently confirmed that he has secured composer Ramin Djawadi to score Pacific Rim. Here’s what Guillermo del Toro had to say below. In House of the Dragon, HBO’s follow-up prequel to its wildly popular series Game of Thrones, the reign of House Targaryen is the series’ primary focus. As a result, Fans of GoT get the chance to explore the world initially created by George R. R. Martin almost 200 years before the existence of Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow. Still, despite the prequel’s success, series actor Paddy Considine (who plays the mild-mannered King Viserys) doesn’t think the show’s fans truly understood his character’s intentions....

It was announced last year, after the amazing box office success of the micro-budget horror film Paranormal Activity, Paramount was setting up a micro-budget division at the studio. IndieWire is now reporting that the division is expected to be announced as early as today, dubbed Insurge Pictures. It was said that the unit has a total budget of $1 million per year, and they already have 10 films lined up, said to be budgeted at $100,000 apiece....

The Pirates of the Caribbean films began with The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003. Over the next 14 years, Disney would go on to produce four more films in the franchise. As of 2017, the film franchise did not seem to be slowing down at all, with fans still watching the sequels. Time’s 2022 Women of the Year list spotlights women working to create a better future for all women everywhere and features 12 individuals fighting for a more inclusive and equitable world. Although Time started running Man of the Year at the publication’s inception, which only became Person of the Year in 1999, it published the 100 most influential women in 2020 to attempt to correct the record. The issue was so well received that Time Magazine decided to start an annual Women of the Year issue to highlight the impact that women have on the world....

As reported by Collider, Apple TV+ has announced that they have ordered a limited series based on Scott Turow’s acclaimed novel Presumed Innocent. The eight-episode series will be written by David E. Kelley. Kelley will also be serving as executive producer on the series. The writer will be teaming up with J.J. Abrams and his production company Bad Robot. Abrams and Bad Robot’s Head of Television, Ben Stephenson, will serve alongside Kelly as executive producers....

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have revealed plenty of new startling details about their experience within the royal family. Though the couple has previously publicly discussed some of their more troubling experiences, Prince Harry and Markle’s new show has given royal fans a deeper look at the couple’s struggles than ever before. For example, one bombshell dropped by Prince Harry stated that members of the royal family considered the media harassment that Markle endured as a sort of “rite of passage” that all potential royal wives had to deal with....

Netflix’s extremely popular series, The Punisher, will begin filming Season 2 later this month, according to a new report. Season 1 of The Punisher was a hit and it wasn’t long after its premiere that Season 2 was officially announced by Netflix and Marvel. The Punisher joined the rest of Netflix’s Marvel roster after the reaction that the character received on Daredevil. Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle easily stole the show, making it a no-brainer to develop a standalone Punisher series....

Movie Picture You’ve got to be concerned about anything that purports to be “based on true/reported events”. Invasion will prove to be one more example. Based on something called “The Lawton Outbreak”, a report by someting called the N.S.A.A-C.D.C, Invasion details the events surrounding a meteor that strikes the earth’s surface just outside a small town in California. This meteor contains a large quantity of virulent disease, that starts a rapid spread throughout the small town....

Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon is back at it with a new animated series in the works at FOX. Reportedly, the series will be set in ancient Greece and will follow “a flawed family of humans, gods, and monsters that tries to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other.” The network has already given a series order for the show with plans to premiere the cartoon sometime in 2022....

ABC has just hired Rob Lowe to producer a one-hour procedural drama for the network. According to Variety, the actor will also be joining ABC’s hit series Brothers & Sisters. Alison Cross is partnering with Lowe on the cop drama. She will write the pilot script, which is set to revolve around the shadowy world of stalkers. The series will follow the adventures of an anti-stalking unit in Los Angeles. Each episode will follow the female lead of the stalking unit as her team races to capture a stalker before he can do something life threatening....

The fourth season of Stranger Things is drawing a lot of comparisons to the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, mainly because of how similar Vecna is to the iconic slasher Freddy Krueger. Vecna targets teenagers who have experienced a traumatic event, puts them in a dream-like state, and kills them in horrific fashion. Chrissy’s death in the season premiere was also a pretty deliberate homage to Tina’s in the first Nightmare film, so horror fans are being plenty satiated by the darker tone Stranger Things has taken....

The Loki series premiere, “Glorious Purpose”, opens in 2012 at Avengers tower in New York City. We see the “time heist” scene from Avengers: Endgame. In the lobby, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) grabs the Tesseract after Hulk smashes through the stairwell and then vanishes. The Marvel Studios opening rolls, but ends in a distinct Loki green. A title card reads “Gobi Desert, Mongolia”, a portal opens and he plummets into the sand....
