Marvel is making a Moon Knight show for Disney+ and they may be bringing a former wizard along for the ride. While it’s nothing more than a rumor for the time being, there is a report floating around that suggests none other than Daniel Radcliffe, of Harry Potter fame, is being eyed for the lead role. Radcliffe seems destined for a major comic book role at some point and, if this rumor has any truth to it, that could happen sooner rather than later....

Leading up to the series premiere of the new Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, Marvel Studios revealed new colorful posters of the lead cast. The posters were initially released on Marvel Studios’ official Twitter page, highlighting the nine of the series’ cast members. It starts with none other than Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, completely decked in her Ms. Marvel costume. The other posters include cast members like Bruno Carrelli, played by Matt Lintz, Nakia Bahadir, played by Yasmeen Fletcher, Zoe Zimmer, played by Laurel Marsden, Kamran, played by Rish Shah, Kamala’s older brother Amir and his wide Tyesha, played by Saagar Shaikh and Travina Springer, respectively, as well as Kamala’s parents Yusuf and Muneeba, played by Mohan Kapur and Zenobia Shroff, respectively....

NBC announced the network will broadcast Madonna: The Confessions Tour Live - a two-hour special set to air in November 2006. The special will be taped this summer at Wembley Stadium in London, UK during her worldwide sold-out 25-city “Confessions Tour” and marks the first-ever broadcast network performance by the international pop superstar. “Madonna is one of the greatest artists of our time and never fails to generate excitement,” said Kevin Reilly, NBC Entertainment President....

Astronaut, and first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong passed away today at the age of 82. He is said to have succumbed to post-surgery complications after having undergone heart surgery on August 8th, just three days after his birthday. Neil Armstrong announced the immortal words, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” after stepping off the lunar module and onto the moon’s surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission launched on July 20th of 1969....

Despite what we had heard previously, the canceled Marvel shows that used to live on Netflix could eventually find a home on Disney+. This comes from Kevin Mayer, who serves as chairman of Disney’s direct-to-consumer business, a position he was appointed to earlier this year, that ultimately puts him in charge of the company’s forthcoming streaming service. While it may not be time to get anyone’s hopes up, Daredevil, Luke Cage and even Iron Fist could have new life....

Brandon Routh has boarded Magic the Gathering, a new animated series based on the popular fantasy card game. In the works at Netflix for a planned 2022 release, the series will feature Routh voicing the lead character, Gideon Jura. The announcement was officially made during Wizards of the Coast’s Magic Showcase 2021 stream, and no other cast members have yet been named. Also during the stream, it was announced that a prequel novel to the animated series is also in the works from author Django Wexler....

Sometimes it takes a little bit of trickery to overcome a dangerous enemy. That’s the theme of the upcoming Netflix movie Operation Mincemeat, a new movie heading to theaters and Netflix in May. Ahead of its release, Netflix has released the official trailer, giving us a peek at stars Colin Firth and Matthew Macfadyen as soldiers in World War II plotting a creative plan to fool Nazi forces, and it involves a corpse....

New Line is planning to revisit the Police Academy franchise, with original producer Paul Maslansky onboard for what would be the eighth installment. No writer or director has been attached, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Police Academy was a seven-film lowbrow comedy series from Warner Bros. that saw a city throw open the doors of its police force to any recruit, much to the chagrin of its serious officers. The misfit officers band together and, of course, save the city....

Rick and Morty has been given a new trailer along with an official premiere date for season 5. Adult Swim has announced that the popular animated series will return with new episodes on Sunday, June 20, at 11 p.m. Additionally, the network is branding the day as “Rick and Morty Day” with plans to also release behind the scenes footage and “special surprises across TV, digital and social.” You can watch the trailer for season 5 below....

Saw VI will bring the furthering adventures of Jigsaw to theaters on October 23, but Lionsgate wants to get iPhone users in on the Jigsaw fun as well. A new application has been released for the iPhone that will enable users to make their voice sound just like Jigsaw. This new, free app will allow users to record up to 60 seconds of their voice and, with customized settings for speed, pitch and tempo, along with a soundboard full of classic Jigsaw lines for you to practice with, you can be Jigsaw in no time!...

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series takes place during a time when there are plenty of characters that could make a brief or major cameo on the show. The Disney+ series is set 10 years after The Revenge of The Sith and the tragic events of Order 66. There are a whole host of fan-favorite characters that could potentially show up on the show. Darth Vader, Uncle Owen, and The Grand Inquisitor are all confirmed to be in the much-anticipated series....

Life has not been very easy for Pauley Perrette over the past several years, but despite it all, the Broke star just feels grateful to still be standing. Taking to Twitter, Perrette posted a video opening up about her current health struggles, revealing that last year she suffered from a massive stroke. She also touched on her other continued struggles along with some loved ones she’s lost in recent years. It’s been hard for the actress, but at the same time, her challenges make her feel more grateful to still be here....

Everybody Loves Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal takes his hit show to Russia in this hilarious new documentary, in theaters Friday. Documentaries aren’t supposed to be this funny, but director Philip Rosenthal’s latest project Exporting Raymond packs more laughs per second than any other comedy released so far this year. The movie chronicles Phil’s journey to translate his hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond for Russian audiences. Of course, hijinks ensue as Rosenthal finds himself hitting one cultural roadblock after another....

Philip Seymour Hoffman is going to be a busy man in the next year; the Oscar-winner has signed on to star in the drama, Charlie Wilson’s War for Universal. He’s also going to join the cast of the drama, Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead for Capitol Films. Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts are already part of the cast for Charlie Wilson’s War, directed by Mike Nichols; Variety reports it’s the adaptation of the George Crile book about a rogue congressman and CIA agent who found the means to secretly arm rebels to fight against invading Soviet troops in Afghanistan in the early 1980s....

Buena Vista Pictures’ Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest continued to break records, and Sony Pictures’ Monster House surpassed expectations with its estimated $23 million opening, according to The Hollywood Reporter. However, the same can’t be said for Warner Bros. Pictures’ release of M. Night Shyamalan’s Lady in the Water, which grossed an estimated $18.2 million, or 20th Century Fox’s My Super Ex-Girlfriend, which came in at an estimated $8....

Production has begun in Los Angeles on Season Four of ABC’s Golden Globe-winning series Grey’s Anatomy. Entering their first year as residents, Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens and Alex Karev now have interns of their own to mentor. Among the new interns are George, forced to repeat his internship after failing his exams, and Lexie Grey, Meredith’s half-sister. Actress Chyler Leigh joins the cast as Lexie Grey. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Leigh has worked with some of the biggest talents in the business, from Aaron Spelling to David E....
