Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback and she’s doing so in the most logical way for someone in her position; by making a reality series for MTV. Lohan became the subject of a lot of bad tabloid-esque press, due to her increasing pile of off-screen antics. She’s kept a low-profile, in terms of her actual on-screen work, over the last handful of years. But that’s set to change next year as the tentatively titled Lohan Beach Club is set to arrive on MTV, which you can watch the first teaser for right now....

Netflix released a new romantic comedy in August, Look Both Ways, directed by Wanuri Kahiu (Rafiki) from a script by April Prosser. Look Both Ways is a feel-good ‘what if’ type of narrative. The streaming service appears to be betting on romantic comedy originals lately, and this one has been paying off. While it is a rom-com, the movie tackles many current problems that most people face, such as anxiety about the future, regret, and even FOMO (slang for Fear of Missing Out)....

Details beyond next summer’s The Marvels were pretty sparse until this weekend, but now we know that Blade will take the last slot of 2023 and bring the Daywalker fully into the MCU after his voice-over tease in the post-credit scene of Eternals last year....

It is fair to say that everyone wants a Kevin Feige on their team when it comes to building universes and establishing long-running movie franchises. While the Marvel Cinema Universe has seen Feige putting in a lot of work to ensure that the interconnected series of films and TV series run coherently, it seems that at one point Feige was in talks with Warner Bros. to head up the DCEU, and new Warner Bros....

Progress is pretty slow-moving on the planned sequel to Disney’s live-action Aladdin remake, but the project isn’t toast just yet. Mena Massoud, who played Aladdin in the 2019 film, has provided an update on Aladdin 2. The actor confirms that the project is currently stalled, as the previous version of the script has been scrapped. As Massoud tells Variety, new writers have since been brought in to flesh out the script, but at the same time, Massoud isn’t entirely sure that the sequel is really going to happen at this point, but he’s hoping that it does....

The cancelation of Batgirl and the rumored cutting of an Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom cameo seems to have suggested that Michael Keaton’s return as Batman in the DCU may be over before it really starts. While there were reportedly plans for Keaton to get his own new legacy Batman movie following appearances in The Flash and other projects, when the old DCU began to fall apart, many of these plans fell by the wayside....

Midnight in Paris, the new film by Woody Allen will open the Festival de Cannes on May 11th in the Lumière theatre, in the presence of the Jury presided by Robert De Niro. The romantic comedy, which was shot last year in the French capital, brings together a broad international cast, including Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Marion Cotillard, as well as Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Gad Elmaleh and Léa Seydoux....

Spider-Man’s fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse animated film. The film introduces a whole new cast of spider-variants, including Miles Morales, played by Shameik Moore; Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen, played by Hailee Steinfeld, Spider-Woman played by Issa Rae; and Spider-Punk, played by Daniel Kaluuya. The new still gives fans a glimpse of Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen. The two are seen seated close to one another. However, they appear to be sitting upside down, and the cityscape in the distance is inverted....

Audiences have overwhelmingly responded to the unique offer from Best Buy and Universal Pictures to give away tickets to this weekend’s nationwide theatrical release of Sobini Films’ inspiring drama Peaceful Warrior. As of Monday, March 26, more than 900,000 tickets had been requested for this weekend’s showtimes of the film, with a corresponding box-office value of nearly $8 million. Best Buy and Universal Pictures will give away up to $15 million in tickets to the March 30 weekend’s nationwide theatrical release of the film through a dedicated web portal, www....

The Motion Picture Association of America is trying to put a stop to RealNetworks’ new product. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the MPAA has brought a lawsuit against RealNetworks and their new RealDVD software, which was released today, claiming that the software violates the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The lawsuit is trying to restrain the release of the software, claiming that the program gets around the copy protection enabled on DVD’s, allowing users to illegally burn movies to their computer....

That’s a wrap on NCIS: New Orleans. CBS has announced that the long-running spin-off series will conclude with its current season 7. The series finale is now set to air on May 16. It will be the show’s 155th episode overall. While that is a huge run in the television landscape overall, it will go down as the shortest-lived entry in the NCIS franchise. The series was created by the late Gary Glasberg....

Netflix has officially fired Kevin Spacey. House of Cards has shut down production to figure out how to write him off the show, with plans to kill off Frank Underwood. The streaming service is currently evaluating the future of the hit political drama, as more accusers step forth. Netflix has also canceled Spacey’s planned Gore Vidal biopic. A Netflix representative released this message. Media Rights Capital, who produces House of Cards alongside Kevin Spacey, issued this statement....

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince producer David Barron has announced that a new scene will be added to the franchise hit, which was not in the book. She couldn’t tell us who she was doubling for, since the actress hasn’t officially been named yet, but apparently Kate Newman is the closest thing to the lead actress for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, serving as the unnamed actress’s double. Scene.co.nz Newman revealed a few tidbits from the upcoming blockbuster prequel to Fox’s X-Men trilogy. Newman says that the actress she doubled is an up-and-coming twenty-something and a “really nice girl.” Newman is apparently a dead ringer for the actress, although she had to have her lighter colored hair dyed a darker brown to match....

Audiences eager to see Disney/Pixar’s upcoming summer comedy Ratatouille will get an early summer treat on Tuesday, May 1st when an extended 9-minute sequence from the film will debut exclusively on Disney.com.
