Between Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max, and more, it’s certainly challenging for viewers to keep up with all the acclaimed series that are seemingly available with the push of a button. Netflix in particular has had numerous universally beloved series to its name over the years. Indeed, for many, Netflix was likely the first major streaming service they had subscribed to....

The newly released teaser trailer for the Karate Kid series Cobra Kai features Johnny Lawrence as the sensei along with a funny Mr. Miyagi callback. This is the second bit of footage from Cobra Kai that has been released and it focuses on the comedic aspect of the show and does not feature Ralph Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso at all. Not a whole lot of details have been revealed about the new YouTube Red show, but this new teaser trailer looks like the show is going to be pretty funny and a left turn from what everybody is expecting....

NBC.com today announced that The Office webisodes will go live on Thursday, July 10th at 3pm (ET) on NBC.com. The second series of webisodes for this popular NBC comedy are sponsored by Comcast, Sony Electronics and Priceline. The announcement was made by Vivi Zigler, President, NBC Universal Digital Entertainment. “The Office, the show that pioneered webisodes two years ago, is back with another clever installment,” said Zigler. “The huge online fan base will love seeing the exploits of Kevin, Oscar, Darrel and the gang as they figure out Kevin’s financial future....

According to Variety, Sony’s $120 million Nicolas Cage starrer Ghost Rider, based on the Marvel comicbook, has been bumped from its July 14, 2006, release date to President’s Day weekend (February 16) 2007. The move won’t likely be the last for Sony, which still has six other pics to unspool during the upcoming summer months. Sony has 28 pics lined up for 2006 from its five divisions (Columbia, Screen Gems, TriStar, Revolution and MGM)....

Bob Odenkirk, Will Arnett and Will Forte create comedy gold on the set of their new movie Recently we had the comic pleasure of visiting the set of Brothers Solomon, a new film directed by Mr. Show’s Bob Odenkirk and starring Will Arnett (of Arrested Development fame) and Will Forte (Saturday Night Live). It should surprise nobody that Brothers Solomon is a comedy. This film pits together Forte and Arnett as socially handicapped brothers who, in trying to satisfy the dying wish of their father (Lee Majors), do everything in their power to give him a grandchild....

As the landscape of home entertainment keeps changing, one studio has announced plans to keep up with the current trends. According to Variety, Paramount Home Entertainment will start making select titles available for purchase on Blu-ray long before the titles will be available on standard DVD. It seems the new initiative will start with Dance Flick, which, although it hasn’t been officially announced yet, will be released on September 8. Instead of having the DVD and Blu-ray available for purchase on the same date, the film will only be available to buy on Blu-ray, although consumers will be able to rent the film in standard definition and Blu-ray on that date....

The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has had a memorable voyage over the years. Starting as a Disney theme park ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California in 1967, decades later it turned into a 3.7 billion dollar blockbuster movie franchise over the course of five films. After the 2003 runaway hit Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, four sequels later emerged: Dead Man’s Chest (2006), At World’s End (2007), On Stranger Tides (2011), and Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)....

Millennium Entertainment’s CEO Bill Lee announced today that the company has acquired U.S. rights to Oren Moverman’s critical smash Rampart, which had its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. Millennium Entertainment will release the film theatrically this year with newly appointed Millennium Films’ Mark Gill consulting on the project. Oren Moverman and acclaimed crime fiction writer James Ellroy wrote the screenplay, with Oren Moverman directing a cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Ben Foster, Ice Cube, Steve Buscemi, Anne Heche, Sigourney Weaver, Robin Wright, and Cynthia Nixon....

Ridley Scott’s latest movie is the crime drama House of Gucci, based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden, and being based on the history of the iconic real-life fashion family it was always likely to get a reaction from the Gucci’s, and in fact previously gained scorn from Patrizia Reggiani, who is played by Lady Gaga in the movie....

The first trailer for Riverdale season 3 has arrived. The CW had a major presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year and on the last day of the massive pop culture convention, they provided fans with a glimpse of what’s to come with Archie and the gang on the forthcoming season of Riverdale. TNT has released an extended trailer for The Last Ship, which we reported in March will debut with the Season 1 Premiere on June 22.
