The first photos has been unveiled for Season 6 of Mad Men, returning to AMC sometime next year. These new shot features Don Draper (Jon Hamm) relaxing on a Hawaiian vacation with his wife Megan (Jessica Paré), which is somewhat surprising given what happened in the Season 5 finale. A new trailer from Marvel has arrived to tease Phase 5 of the MCU. Released courtesy of Marvel India, the footage is introduced by Miss Minutes, and details the events of the somewhat divisive Phase 4 before throwing us into Phase 5 with a montage of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Secret Invasion, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and more. While we have seen most of the footage before, the trailer should nonetheless have Marvel fans hyped for Phase 5, which is expected to bring this iteration of the Guardians of the Galaxy to end, further explore the ramifications of the multiverse, and introduce the new big bad, Kang the Conqueror....

Stranger Things 4 did things for 80s music that most shows cannot even dream of. As well as bringing a classic Kate Bush song to a new audience and the top of the charts, the second part of the season delivered a blistering guitar-driven performance of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” performed on top of a trailer in the Upside Down by Eddie Munson, played by actor Joseph Quinn. Now, Metallica frontman James Hetfield has been returning the favor by rocking out in an Eddie Munson cosplay for Halloween....

Sad news has come in as veteran actor Mike Hagerty has died. The news was announced on Instagram by Bridget Everett, one of Hagerty’s co-stars who plays his daughter on the HBO series Somebody Somewhere. Everett did not specify a cause of death, only announcing that Hagerty had passed away in Los Angeles. He was 67 years old. “With great sadness, the family of Michael G. Hagerty announced his death yesterday in Los Angeles,” Everett writes on the post....

Netflix has released a teaser for Money Heist season 5. Not only does the trailer give us a taste of what’s to come in the latest season of the highly popular crime series, but it also reveals that the new season will be split into two volumes. The first volume will arrive in September this fall, with the second volume to follow three months later on December 3. Each volume will consist of five episodes, giving the final season ten episodes overall to wrap up the story....

Giving viewers paths to appear on TV, MTV Networks’ Music Group is unveiling sites where fans can submit themselves for consideration as cast members on such popular shows as MTV’s The Real World and VH1’s I Love New York. The sites add entirely new dimensions to the way in which viewers interact with their favorite programs by allowing them to visualize the makeup of the shows’ casts and also potentially become cast members themselves....

NBC and Netflix are breaking new ground in the kind of relationship a rental service can have with a content provider. According to Yahoo!, NBC and Netflix, Inc., “today announced they will offer Netflix’s approximately five million subscribers an advanced look at the premiere episodes of NBC’s anticipated new drama series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Kidnapped.” These new shows are going to be “made available in their entirety, six weeks before their respective broadcast premieres, on a special DVD created for Netflix that will also include preview trailers of the network’s other new fall drama series....

It seems that Netflix will be digging deeper into their Blu-ray customers’ pocketbooks from now on. Blu-ray.com is reporting that, starting on April 27, Netflix users who opt to rent Blu-ray titles could pay $9 more per month. We reported back in October that the online rental giant was charging an extra dollar per month for subscribers who wished for unlimited Blu-ray access. Now, the fee will remain a dollar per month, but only if you opt for the least expensive plan of $4....

Warner Brothers has just provided us with a beautiful new photo from the latest in the Harry Potter series Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The pic originally appeared in Nick Magazine, but now here it is in high-resolution for all you die hard Hermione fans out there. Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and Wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was....

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, is looking for a possible heir to her throne, and she is hoping to find one via a new reality project being shopped to broadcast and cable networks, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Cassandra Peterson, who created the character 25 years ago and has portrayed her in numerous shows and movies, and her manager, Eric Gardner of Panacea Entertainment, have teamed with reality TV producers Stuart Krasnow and FremantleMedia North America to pitch an unscripted project featuring contestants competing for a one-year contract to portray the character in various personal appearances....

The Good One of the best movies I have ever seen. The Bad I would have loved a director’s commentary. Having grown up listening to classic rock and then getting into punk rock, I came across The New York Dolls in a very small way. However, who can ever forget one of the first bands to look like women? As an aside, who forget the boisterous David Johansen? So I put in New York Doll not knowing anything about it, except for that it chronicled the life of New York Dolls bass player Arthur “Killer” Kane....

Saturday morning at the New York Comic Con brought me to the screening/panel session from Warner Brothers, and while I was excited for the Watchmen segment, I didn’t expect a lot from it. Maybe the trailers, and the viral videos that had been popping up. Besides, the segment was to be hosted by Dave Gibbons, who was the co-creator and illustrator of the Watchmen graphic novel. While it’s great that he approves of the film so wholeheartedly, where was director Zack Snyder or any of the stars from the film?...

Olga Kurylenko and Andrea Riseborough have boarded Joseph Kosinski’s untitled sci-fi pic as the female leads alongside Tom Cruise. The film follows a futuristic soldier stationed on Earth, the surface of which has been destroyed by aliens. When he discovers a mysterious woman in a crash-landed pod, it sets off a chain of events that cause him to question everything he knows. William Monahan and Karl Gajdusek previously wrote drafts of the script, which is currently being rewritten by Michael Arndt....
