Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo are set to star in Netflix’s upcoming mini-series All The Light We Cannot See. The four-part series will adapt Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name to the screen. Joining Ruffalo and Laurie is newcomer Aria Mia Loberti, a blind actress playing the role of a blind French teenager Marie-Laure, whose path crosses that of young German soldier Werner as they both try to survive the devastation of World War II in occupied France....

Martin star Tisha Campbell is still holding out hope for a revival of the classic TV sitcom. From 1992 to 1997, Campbell famously starred as Gina Waters on the popular comedy series opposite Martin Lawrence as the titular character. During its run, Martin served as one of the highest-rated shows on television and is certainly among the most memorable sitcoms of its era. Still a hit with fans, reruns of the series are currently airing on BET and VH1....

Two new heroes were introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron that signaled the expansion of the MCU: Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and her twin brother Pietro / Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson). In an interview with Screen Rant while promoting the highly anticipated Avengers sequel, Olsen revealed her dream MCU project would be for the comic House of M to be explored. During the same interview, Taylor-Johnson said that within Marvel films lie many nuances and gems....

Anchor Bay Films has announced today it has acquired the horror film Mother’s Day, directed by Saw veteran Darren Lynn Bousman and starring Rebecca De Mornay, Jaime King, Deborah Ann Woll and Shawn Ashmore. The film is a loose remake of the original Troma film of the same name directed by Charles Kaufman. The announcement, which includes rights North American rights, was made by Bill Clark, President of Anchor Bay Entertainment....

The Pakistani-American hero, Ms. Marvel, is a 16-year-old New Jersey girl doing her best to balance high school, family, and emerging superpowers. Marvel Studios recently released the first trailer for Ms. Marvel on Disney+, giving fans the most comprehensive look at the character’s live-action powers yet....

Streaming giant Netflix is still hoping to eventually launch its own major franchise. A franchise that will be akin to the likes of Star Wars and Harry Potter, should the platform have its way. The plans to build a franchise have been detailed in a report by Reuters, with Netflix looking to imitate the huge success shown by their ongoing series, Stranger Things. The report continues, stating that Netflix teams are “plotting ways to milk more from Netflix’s bigger shows and movies with universes and characters they can return to again and again....

The Good Nobody does comedy like the British. The Bad Only six episodes. No real extra features. In Rising Damp, Vol. 4 we get the final 6 episodes showcasing Leonard Rossiter as Rigsby. He runs (if you can call it that) a rooming house and is your typical bad landlord. He doesn’t want to spend money, he isn’t particularly nice to his tenants and he also has a deep rooted crush on Miss Jones (Frances de la Tour)....

Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof would be up for seeing a rebooted version of the hit television series, but only if someone else will be in charge this time. Along with J. J. Abrams and Jeffrey Lieber, Lindelof developed the original pilot episode for Lost, later serving as a showrunner and head writer for the rest of the show’s six-season run alongside Carlton Cuse. Now, after a full decade since Lost has gone off the air, Lindelof admits he has no desire to personally reboot the series, but remains hopeful another team could bring the show back to life with a new creative vision....

Luke Greenfield is heading to the tube with two new pilots. According to Variety, Greenfield will be directing the pilots My Mom Is Hot for ABC and Broke Friends for Fox. My Mom Is Hot is loosely based on his relationship with his own mother, Beth Greenfield. The series will center on a man whose recently-divorced mother starts dating again. “It’s about what happens when your mom stops being your mom and becomes your closest single buddy, hanging with your friends and crushing it on Match....

A sequel to the recent horror movie hit, M3GAN, is reportedly already in the works, with the killer doll now on track to become the next slasher icon. As per a report by Deadline, M3GAN 2 is now in development, though at this time it is unknown whether director Gerard Johnstone or screenwriter Akela Cooper will return for more. Considering the monumental success of the first outing, the studio will no doubt be clamoring to get the same creative team together again for the M3GAN sequel....
