Pictures today announced that the highly acclaimed IMAX hit motion picture adventure Deep Sea 3D continued its box office climb, surpassing $50 million in total gross box office receipts since it premiered in March 2006. After 75 weeks in release, Deep Sea 3D has played in more than 120 IMAX theatres worldwide and continues to draw audiences in both domestic and international markets, demonstrating the strong legs that original IMAX 3D productions have become famous for throughout the exhibition industry....

Martin Henderson will star as the male lead in ABC’s drama, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Doug Liman is directing the adaptation of his 2005 movie starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt; Henderson will play opposite Jordana Brewster. In other TV news, Mark-Paul Gosselaar has signed on to star in Barry Schindel’s untitled dramedy for CBS and Scott Free Productions. The show revolves around a group of Los Angeles public defenders; The Hollywood Reporter notes Gosselaar will play a charismatic 30-year-old who leaves his life of privilege and opportunity to run for Congress in order to work as a public defender....

Marvel has released a brief trailer for their upcoming sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to celebrate the highly anticipated MCU installment being just 2 months away from release. Directed by Sam Raimi and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will further unleash the multiverse upon the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is expected to make big changes to the franchise. The footage gives us another glimpse at the chaos that will ensue when Doctor Strange enters the multiverse, an element that was first introduced in the Disney+ series Loki before being explored further in the recent Spider-Man: No Way Home....

This past weekend, at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland, Oregon, fans were given a surprise look at ten minutes of footage for a proposed Mnemovore film, starring Kristen Bell (Heroes), according to Comics 2 Film. Mnemovore is based on the mini-series of the same name from DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. It tells the story of a professional snow boarder who suffers an accident which gives her amnesia. This amnesia puts her in the position to battle an ancient entity which feeds on the memories of mankind....

A new Muhammad Ali movie is happening with Nicholas Pinnock (For Life) attached to star as the world-famous boxing legend. Called A God Amongst Men, the film also stars Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) and will be directed by James Newton (2:Hrs). The screenplay was co-written by Newton and Ian Skelton (Hey Duggee) and is inspired by the true story of Ali visiting Tyneside, England, in 1977. Adam Rolston and David Braithwaite are producing for Studio Pictures....

The Good With 32 episodes these discs also come packed with 4 featurettes that look at some of our favorite characters from the show. The Bad Hard to negotiate, awful packaging that makes taking out the discs to screen the DVDs a chore. This is a show I have been watching in reruns for as long as I can remember. The Munsters - The Complete Second Season was something I begged to be able to review....

Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott has joined the cast of two upcoming projects, My Mother’s Curse and See Girl Run. My Mother’s Curse centers on Seth Rogen’s character, an inventor who decides to take his mother (Barbra Streisand) on a road trip to try and sell his latest invention. He also has a secondary motive though, to reunite his mom with her long-lost lover. It isn’t known what role Adam Scott will have in the comedy....

NBC announced its new original alternative series Identity, the ultimate mind game hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedian/magician Penn Jillette (Penn & Teller), will premiere as a five-night event from Monday, December 18 through Friday, December 22 (8-9 p.m. all nights). The announcement was made by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment. Craig Plestis, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming, Development and Specials said, “The deceptively creative concept of this show is both intriguing and addictive....

Netflix has revealed first look images from their upcoming The Witcher TV show. Along with this first look at the cast, the streaming platform also revealed the series’ logo along with new art and the teaser poster. If that wasn’t enough, we’re all about to get a lot more information about the highly anticipated series at San Diego Comic-Con, which is just three weeks away and coming up fast. The fantasy series is based on Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels and the series of highly successful video games....

Feb. 17 is the official release date of the highly-anticipated Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Marvel Entertainment recently released a teaser to reveal more about the upcoming film. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is seen in a showdown facing Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). Kang gives fans the chills with yet another haunting introduction in the latest trailer. In a later teaser scene, Lang yells “Kang!” in preparation for a battle that will leave fans on the edge of their seats....

Johnny Faust and the Relentless are finally making a comeback for the series’ second season! Recently on the Paradise City official Instagram page, a photo was posted revealing a painted picture of Johnny Faust and Lily Mayflower being face-to-face while making direct eye contact with each other. Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc, today announced an extension of its agreement with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions to run through 2013. This continues the first-look relationship originally started with Abrams and long-time colleague, producer Bryan Burk, in July 2006. “Today’s announcement is meaningful to me in many ways,” said Brad Grey, Chairman and CEO, Paramount Pictures Corporation. “Bad Robot was one of the first deals we made to help rebuild the studio....
