Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, announced today that it will release Quantum of Solace on November 14th in North America. “The strategic move places the highly-anticipated James Bond adventure one week closer to the prime movie-going holiday window and takes advantage of last week’s decision to move the release date of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, said the studios. “We saw the film recently in London and Marc Forster, Daniel Craig and the entire team at EON have truly delivered another extraordinary Bond adventure,” said Jeff Blake, Chairman of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for the Columbia Tristar Motion Picture Group....

The dark side of the afterlife has a revolving door policy in the Slamdance On the Road presentation of The Other Side. While waiting for the woman he loves, Sam North is unexpectedly murdered and sent, surprisingly, to hell. Hell, meanwhile, is an insane combination of childhood flashbacks and plastic wrap and not a whole lot of fire. Anyway…now Sam’s in hell, or is until a few other denizens help him, bafflingly, escape via a corrugated plastic tunnel conveniently located not too far from where he landed in the first place....

At the San Diego Comic-Con 2022, DC Comics revealed the preview pages for Riddler: Year One #1. In a panel called ‘Jim Lee and Friends’, Paul Dano shared the details about the comic book as well. The six-issue comic book series will feature Edward Nashton’s emotionally traumatic past and his mental struggles against the corrupt Gotham administration. It was these experiences that turned Nashton into The Riddler, who would go on to terrorize the city and face off Batman....

Rise of the Planet of the Apes could have been a great film..if it wasn’t so uneven. The visual effects and primate characterizations are tremendous, really well done. Motion capture technology is the rage these days, but here it really shines. The apes are seamlessly integrated into the modern world. I tip my hat to the production team for making them look so realistic. If only they could have invested more time in the humans....

True believers, rejoice! The founding father of the MCU, Robert Downey Jr. himself, is coming back to the cinematic universe, and he’s bringing Iron man with him. Granted, it’s not a role in an upcoming live-action movie, but rather an animated version of Iron Man voiced by Downey, who is set to appear in Disney+’s upcoming What If…? series, as Jeff Goldblum revealed during a recent interview for Buzzfeed. Let’s get the initial queries out of the way....

Do not be fooled by the sweet-sounding title of this upcoming film because it gives no indication of its content. Little Dixie is definitely not something to watch with the whole family. It’s certain to be an entertaining and fun movie, but it’s likely to be riddled with extreme violence and language, given the film’s subject and rating. Set to premiere next month, Little Dixie is a gritty action thriller centered around a Mexican drug cartel and their battle with an ex-special forces officer after they kidnap his daughter in an act of revenge following a deal gone bad with a suspicious American governor....

The Luke Cage season 2 soundtrack has been given an awesome vinyl release. Marvel and Netflix have brought the muscle-bound hero of Hell’s Kitchen back for his second run of episodes and that means we’ve got another excellent score to enjoy. Mondo Music has partnered with Marvel to present the vinyl soundtrack for season 2, complete with collectible artwork of the bulletproof Defender, courtesy of Sara Deck. The release of the album coincides with the release of the second season of the hit series and features original score by returning composers Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest) and Adrian Younge (Ghostface Killah, JAY-Z, Bilal, Souls of Mischief)....

Manifest season 4 might be happening on Netflix after all. As of now, Netflix is reportedly closing in on a deal after “complex negotiations” with Warner Bros. Television to order a fourth season of the hit sci-fi series. The studio has also started negotiations with the Manifest cast along with a mix of new and returning writers for season 4. Things could still change heading into the end here, but things certainly look much more promising now than they did earlier this summer....

FX is bringing Mayans M.C. to an end. THR reports that the Sons of Anarchy spinoff is officially set to conclude with its upcoming fifth season. News of the show getting renewed for season 5 dates back to last summer, though it wasn’t revealed until now that the show has been concluded. It also remains unclear when exactly season 5 will arrive, though it’s expected to premiere on FX sometime this year....

The final installment of Stranger Things is scheduled to film in 2023, but a recent nightmare is leaving Millie Bobby Brown with some fear about returning to the series. Brown currently stars as the titular character in Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2, as the younger sister of iconic detective Sherlock Holmes, who is following in his footsteps. In the film, which premiered Friday, Brown often breaks the fourth wall and talks directly to the camera to update audiences about case details....

“Where will you be the minute you wake up dead?” Cole Hauser is in for a wild, action-packed ride with the upcoming film from Lionsgate, The Minute You Wake Up Dead. Hauser stars alongside Morgan Freeman, who plays the small-town Mississippi officer, Sheriff Thurmond Fowler. Fowler is hard at work attempting to solve multiple murders centered around Hauser’s character and his girlfriend, played by Jaimie Alexander. Michael Mailer helms and writes the upcoming thriller, with previous work including Blind and Heart of Champions....

Like any good Roller Derby player Cherry Skye wears her undies on the outside and her panties on her head. It’s no wonder she’s caught the eye of spunky Brad Brad. Unfortunately she’s also earned the ire of Brad’s ex, Hell Grazer, a girl born to win and ready to skate over anything in her path to get what she wants....

Mykelti Williamson Talks Justified Season 5 finale and the uncertain future of Ellstin Limehouse Justified Season 3 continues tonight with Episode 3.10: Measures, which will further complicate the relationship between US Marshall Raylan Givens Timothy Olyphant) and Ellstin Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson), a butcher in Noble’s Holler who handles money for various nefarious individuals throughout Harlan county. As the season comes to an end with Episode 3.12: Slaughterhouse on April 10th, we will learn more about Limehouse’s ties to the Givens’ family tree....

Warner Premiere is in production on Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster, an all-new, live-action/CG movie follow-up to 2009’s record-setting Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, it was announced today by Eva Davis, EVP and General Manager, Warner Premiere. The film commences principal photography on March 15 in various locations around Southern California. The family-targeted feature will premiere on Cartoon Network in fall 2010 and release on DVD through Warner Home Video in early 2011....
