The teaser trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi opened to thunderous applause from Star Wars fans, many of whom consider the character to be among their favorites in the whole franchise. The trailer hinted at potential trouble for the reclusive gentleman Jedi, who entered into an exile period following the targeted mass murder of the Jedi known as Order 66. Stranded on Tatooine, Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi will follow the character’s previously unexplored journey between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope....

War is coming for Rick and the gang in The Walking Dead Season 8. As many fans expected, given the way that The Walking Dead season 7 ended, Rick is going to be doing battle with Negan this year, which means there is going to be lots of action, violence and plenty to look forward to. Now, thanks to the official synopsis for The Walking Dead season 8, we know that this season will for sure be adapting the All Out War storyline and that there are going to be casualties aplenty....

Spoiler Alert: Spoilers for House of the Dragon Episode 8 Ahead House of the Dragon delivered an emotionally packed episode during the eighth entry in the first season. King Viserys (Paddy Considine) is at his weakest, barely able to get out of bed and walk on his own. Paramount and DreamWorks have worked out a joint arrangement for their nearly 40 development projects, according to Variety. As part of the separation agreement, DreamWorks will take the lead on 15-20 projects, with Paramount retaining an option to co-finance and co-distribute the films. Though the two companies declined to list the projects affected because filmmakers are still being contacted, insiders say two Steven Spielberg directing vehicles – The 39 Clues and The Trial of the Chicago 7 – as well as the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy Dinner With Schmucks are among the titles....

One Ghostbusters director is congratulating another on the success of the franchise’s newest movie. Just recently, Ghostbusters: Afterlife finally premiered in movie theaters after several significant delays, and not only have fans been enjoying it for the most part, its box office performance has also been going very well. Its success has captured the attention of Paul Feig, who helmed Ghostbusters: Answer the Call in 2016. Taking to Twitter, Feig commended Afterlife director Jason Reitman along with the rest of the movie’s team....

Peacock’s Queer As Folk has been canceled following its first season. The series, a reimagining of the Russell T Davies series of the same name from 1999, was based on the lives of a group of friends living in New Orleans following a mass shooting at a gay club. The series was in development since 2018 and was initially picked up by Bravo before making its way to Peacock. Season one featured eight episodes....

With Percy Jackson and the Olympians moving through production at Disney+, creator Rick Riordan is teasing the performance of one of the series’ cast members. It was previously reported that Adam Copeland, the professional wrestler and actor perhaps best known by his WWE moniker Edge, had joined the cast of the series. He will be playing Ares, a Greek god who appears in the book series, and in a Mastodon post, Riordan spoke about how Copeland’s other career relates well to his role in the show....

The next mystery will unfold on HBO Max, as the streamer has given a direct-to-series order to a new Pretty Little Liars reboot. Earlier this month, it was reported that a new series was in the works, and today’s update reveals that the reboot has officially found its home. Dubbed Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the first teaser has also been released for the series, revealing the new title and hinting at that’s to come....

America’s most bold and outspoken armchair quarterbacks clearly haven’t learned their lesson from some of sports’ biggest names. Spike TV has green lit another 10-episode season of the popular sports- themed reality series, Pros vs. Joes, featuring regular guys competing in a variety of sports against an incredible array of sports legends. Season one included Jerry Rice, Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, Dominique Wilkins, Jennie Finch, and Dennis Rodman among others. The new season debuts in March, 2007....

Marvel Entertainment, Inc., announced that the company has entered into a new arrangement with Avi Arad to independently produce films for Marvel under his own production company banner, Avi Arad Productions. In this new capacity, Mr. Arad will remain actively involved in Marvel’s upcoming film slate, including Iron Man and Hulk, the first two films anticipated to be financed and produced by Marvel under its new film financing slate. Mr. Arad will also remain attached to produce various licensed productions, including the upcoming Spider-Man 3, scheduled for release next year, and subsequent sequels....

Last November, rumors began circulating that the massively multiplayer online game set in the Marvel Universe, being developed by Cryptic Studios for Microsoft, had stopped development. In an interview with MTV, Shane Kim, head of Microsoft Games Studios confirmed that the project was cancelled. Kim said I’ll confirm. Marvel and we have agreed to end development on the MMO. It was an amicable decision…. It’s just something that we felt that, for us and for them, it would be better if we ended development....

Mary McCormack talks about the show. Mary McCormack has been around the biz for quite awhile, but now she has a brand new role and a brand new series on the USA Network, In Plain Sight, which airs Sunday nights at 10 PM ET. World War Z author Max Brooks is bringing his new comic book Extinction Parade to the small screen with a new TV series adaptation. The author will write the pilot script and will be closely involved in the development of the series, which pits vampires and zombies against each other. The comic, which was launched by Avatar Press in January 2014, follows an elite, aristocratic class of vampires, who watch as a zombie outbreak wipes out the human race, which has served as their food supply for thousands of years, showcasing how these bloodsuckers have failed to evolve over their immortal lifetime....
