Confirmation that Justice League: Mortal has been cancelled seems to be appearing, little by little. Australia’s Herald Sun reports that Australian super-model turned actress Megan Gale has been “let go” from the production. After the film’s troubled production history, including difficulty in locking down a cast and director George Miller’s problems with the Australian government over financial issues, it comes as no great surprise to see that the film isn’t going to happen....

Michael Stuhlbarg has joined the cast of the Sony sequel Men in Black III, portraying a character named Griffin. Sharlto Copley was previously in talks for the role last year, though a deal was never worked out. Our earlier report indicated the Griffin role would be a, “fast-talking Yoda-type alien,” although these details were never confirmed. The Men in Black III plot will take place in both present day and in 1969, where Will Smith’s Agent J travels back in time to meet a younger Agent K (Josh Brolin)....

Never Have I Ever has been renewed for a fourth and final season. Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), the Netflix show follows Indian-American teen Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) as she navigates grief, relationships, and high school. A delightfully creepy new poster for Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight reveals the personality Mr. Knight in all his glory. Released by the official Twitter account for Moon Knight, the series stars Oscar Isaac stars as Marc Spector, a mercenary who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, with Mr. Knight one of the personalities used by Spector to tackle crime. Mr. Knight is one of the more recent personalities introduced into the mythos of Moon Knight....

The announcement was recently made that Chris Pratt would be leading an all-star voice cast on the new animated Super Mario Bros. movie from Illumination, and now according to co-producer and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, the movie is almost complete. During a Q&A session at the end of a financial results meeting, the game director said that the first cut of the movie is complete but needs some refining. In comments translated on Twitter by investment advisor David Gibson, Miyamoto commented that there is a “very good feeling” internally about the movie but they want to make sure that it “does not betray customers,” and they are still polishing the final cut....

A newly reported leak suggests that the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special may feature a cameo appearance from an Eternals character. The GOTGHoliday Special is being simultaneously shot alongside the production of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with James Gunn helming both the projects, describing the former as his best work ever. The leak comes straight via a bystander’s report who witnessed the sets of the special at the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard....
