Michael B. Jordan directs himself as boxer Adonis ‘Donnie’ Creed in the next installment in the Creed franchise, Creed III. This is not only the seasoned actor’s first time he gets to direct himself, but it’s also his directorial debut. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Jordan talks about what it’s like directing himself, having taken advice from other actors who have done the same: The Creed franchise is a continuation of the classic Rocky franchise, which began back in 1976....

After approximately 40 years in the industry, Michelle Yeoh, 60, has won her first Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once. Milla Jovovich has signed on to star in the psychological thriller Faces in the Crowd, from writer-director Julien Magnat for Forecast Pictures, Radar Films and Minds Eye Entertainment. According to Variety, the story centers on a woman who barely survives an attack by a serial killer and wakes up in hospital with a head injury that leaves her “face-blind.” No longer able to recognize faces, she must navigate a world in which facial features change each time she loses sight of them....

Disney Junior is bringing back one of the most beloved children’s series of all-time. It was announced today that a reboot of Muppet Babies will be coming to the network in 2018 and it will be done in CG animation. The series is said to be aimed at children aged 4 to 7, but no doubt there will be some nostalgic adults tuning in to relive a bit of their childhood....

A new TV Spot for the upcoming multiversal MCU entry, Spider-Man: No Way Home has brought in a very small, yet significant change in a Doctor Strange quote. Though the change is small (yet noticeable), a single word puts an entire scenario in a different perspective. And that change is at the moment in the trailer wherein Doctor Strange asks Holland’s Peter Parker to “Scooby-Do this crap”. One Day at a Time star Bonnie Franklin passed away at her Los Angeles home earlier today at the age of 69. While a cause of death wasn’t officially announced, her family revealed back in September that the actress was undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer. Bonnie Franklin was born on January 6, 1944 in Santa Monica, California. She started acting at a very young age, appearing on The Colgate Comedy Hour when she was just nine years old, along with a small, uncredited role in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Wrong Man in 1956....

This time it’s a whole new 187… Xenon Pictures announces the home entertainment release of the Urban horror anthology Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror. The film, which features the legendary rapper as the “Crib Keeper”, presents three grisly morality tales that blend horror, anime, live action and a strong dose of gallows humor. The Xenon Pictures release, produced by Social Capital, BloodWorks, and Snoopadelic Films, which opened nationally in theaters in May, makes its long-awaited DVD launch on September 11th....

The original series told the extraordinary adventures of life within a computer. Dot Matrix and her brother Enzo, plus thousands of friendly binomes, lived in the city of Mainframe, which was plagued by viruses Megabyte and sister strain Hexadecimal. Guardian Bob is sent from the Net to protect them, and soon makes it his home....

Luke Perry, star of Riverdale and Beverly Hills, 90210, has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke Wednesday morning. Paramedics responded to Perry’s home in Sherman Oaks Wednesday morning and the fire department call mentions that the actor had a stroke. A representative for Perry confirmed that he was hospitalized and says that Perry is “under observation,” but did not offer any other details. There are no further updates as of this writing....

According to Variety, Luke Flynn will play his grandfather Errol in “In Like Flynn,” a film that tells the story of his pre-Hollywood adventures on the high seas. Scripted by Flynn, Corey Large and Kyle Kramer from Flynn’s own memoir “Beam Ends,” the $12 million film will start production next year in Australia. Shimon Arama is producing with Large and Alan Pao. The book’s title refers to the last visible sign before a ship sinks....
