The first footage from the second half of Fear the Walking Dead season 4 is here to bring the zombie goods. AMC is due to showcase the upcoming batch of episodes during its panel at San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow, along with The Walking Dead season 9, but they wanted to give fans a little taste of what’s in store with this first brief but pretty cool teaser. In the video, we see some ominous, literally dark footage of several characters who are set to make their return in the back half of season 4....

YouTube has posted a new featurette from Columbia Pictures’ upcoming superhero movie Ghost Rider starring Nicolas Cage, Jon Voight, Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes, Matt Long, Sam Elliott, Peter Fonda and Donal Logue. The first trailer for Mayans MC is here. FX has a panel scheduled for the highly-anticipated Sons of Anarchy spin-off at San Diego Comic-Con this Sunday, but they decided to give fans at home a glimpse of the series a bit earlier. So, they’ve released the trailer online a few days ahead of the panel. They previously released a brief teaser, but this footage gives us an actual idea of what to expect from creator Kurt Sutter’s new series....

Fox has made another behind-the-scenes look at Predators available! This new video delves into the character of Royce (played by Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody). Sony Pictures has released the third U.S. movie poster for The Da Vinci Code directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks, Jean Reno, Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Alfred Molina and Paul Bettany. Ghostbusters: Afterlife reacquainted fans of the 1984 hit movie Ghostbusters with not only its titular heroes but also the franchise’s original villain in the form of Gozer the Gozerian. Reports prior to the movie’s arrival in cinemas last month suggested that the character of Gozer would be portrayed in the new movie by House actress Olivia Wilde, and anyone who has seen the movie would be hard-pressed not to recognize the actress in the climactic scenes of the film as the demon faces off with her old adversaries....

Premiering back in August 2014, Outlander quickly became a huge hit for STARZ, earning multiple Golden Globe nominations for its first season. Audiences flocked to the show in droves and quickly coined the term “droutlander,” which fans use to describe the time between seasons. Thankfully, the current droutlander is almost over as the series is set to return later this summer. The newest season is slated for 16 episodes, the most of any prior season excluding Season 1....

“Money doesn’t solve your problems. It just makes them prettier.” Well said, JJ Nolan — co-star of IFC’s Pretty Problems, which hits select theaters and on-demand on October 7. Winner of both the Audience Award at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and Best English Speaking Feature Film at the Sonoma International Film Festival, the film is a biting satire on the rich and/or famous. I’d say that’s worth a tune-in — for adults only — even if the third act might fall victim to the suspected clichés that come with depicting the often-snooty upper-class lifestyle....

Principal photography has begun on Universal Pictures, Casey Silver Productions and Smoke House’s romantic comedy, Leatherheads. The film unites Academy Award winners George Clooney and Renee Zellweger, with Clooney also directing and serving as one of the film’s writers. Leatherheads, set against the backdrop of America’s nascent pro-football league in 1925, will shoot on locations in South Carolina and North Carolina. Joining Clooney and Zellweger in the film are John Krasinski as golden-boy Carter Rutherford; Jonathan Pryce as Rutherford’s manager, CC; and Stephen Root as the likeable, if less than objective, sports reporter Suds....

Director Quentin Tarantino is ready to make his follow-up to the 2009 hit Inglourious Basterds, and this untitled project will be a spaghetti western. Christoph Waltz, who took home an Oscar for his portrayal of Colonel Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds, will star in the project. Other actors such as Franco Nero, Treat Williams, and Keith Carradine are also rumored to star. Franco Nero claims the movie is called The Angel, The Bad, and the Wise, although a conflicting report indicates this is not the title of Quentin Tarantino’s movie....

A possible strike by the Writer’s Guild at midnight on October 31st could have repercussions for many upcoming films. The Los Angeles Times has an article discussing the strike and how it could affect X-Men Origins: Wolverine, G.I. Joe, and G-Force among others films in production. Guild members voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike if a new contract couldn’t be worked out with the studios and networks. The strike could come as early as November 1, though it is possible for the guild to continue negotiating under the existing contract....

We have some sad news to pass along today as it’s been reported that Lyle Waggoner, the legendary actor well remembered for spending seven years as a fan favorite on The Carol Burnett Show, has passed away at the age of 84. According to his son, Jason, Waggoner died peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning after battling a long illness, surrounded by his wife and sons. Burnett has also spoken out about the news of Waggoner’s telling TMZ in a statement: “He was funny, kind and multi-talented....

Magnet announced that is had pre-bought North America rights to Toby Wilkins’ horror-thriller Splinter, which is currently nearing completion. In the vein of classic creature features, Splinter finds a young couple held hostage by an ex-convict on the run besieged in an isolated gas station by an insatiable parasite that absorbs the corpses of its victims. The creature grows more horrifying with each murder, until the claustrophobia becomes unbearable for the three trapped protagonists, forcing a showdown with the monster....

New cast members have been added to the second and final season of Showtime’s Your Honor, and with it comes a mini Breaking Bad reunion. Variety reports that Mark Margolis, known to Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fans for his unforgettable role as Hector Salamanca, has joined the series alongside Mark O’Brien (Halt and Catch Fire). Your Honor star Bryan Cranston previously shared the screen with Margolis in the first and fourth seasons of Breaking Bad....
