Awesome new stories, fantastic new characters and worlds, all coming together to give audiences the ultimate viewing experience. On the flip side, these films also rake in millions of dollars for the respective studios that make and produce these movies....

Director Dwight Little will assemble some big names in the horror world for his next feature film. Deadline reports that Little, who directed Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, will helm the horror thriller Natty Knocks from Film Bridge After Dark. In November, the movie will be presented to potential buyers at the American Film Market. The film will reunite former child star Danielle Harris with Little; she previously played Jamie Lloyd, the daughter of Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode, in Halloween 4....

Netflix announced today that it has removed Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin from his post as showrunner, after allegations of improper behavior from the writers room and set surfaced. Netflix had already renewed Fuller House for a fourth season, with the streaming service confirming that the new season will go into production as planned. Here’s a brief statement from a Netflix spokesperson released earlier today. Warner Bros. Television also released a brief statement, confirming that, “We are not renewing Jeff Franklin’s production deal and he will no longer be working on Fuller House....

The Netflix Original Series, Orange Is the New Black, the comedic drama set in a women’s prison from creator and executive producer Jenji Kohan (Weeds) will return with a second season on Netflix in 2014. Creative Mobile and FoxNext Games announce the upcoming release of The X-Files: Deep State, an officially licensed mystery investigation game that will coincide with the release of the highly-anticipated X-Files Season 11, in Q1 early 2018 and celebrating the 25th anniversary of The X-Files. Buffy the Vampire Slayer celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The channel, which is run by Fuse Media, used to be primarily dedicated to music but has since begun branching out to include “empowering multicultural content”, and it will be adding the 7 season run of Buffy The Vampire Slayer to that content starting on October 1st, 2022....

It may have been unpopular when it was released, but Reds is getting the full treatment for it’s October 17 DVD debut from Paramount Home Entertainment. In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has some gala events planned for the release of the two disc, special edition DVD. There is going to be “a red-carpet event Oct. 4 at the New York Film Festival, followed by a weeklong theatrical run at the ArcLight Cinemas in Los Angeles, Landmark E Street Theater in Washington and the Village East Theater in New York....

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is not as good as the original film, but superior to the bloated sequels that followed. Coming in at a comparatively lean two hours and fifteen minutes, Pirates 4 is a shining example of Hollywood’s ten pages and a bang theory. Anthony Michael Hall will be making a guest appearance in the flashback episode of Riverdale, playing Principal Featherhead.
