Larry David is no strange to causing controversy on his show Curb Your Enthusiasm. One might even say he revels in it. Sadly, it has now been confirmed that Quantum Leap star and science fiction staple Scott Bakula will not return for the recent revival. But this will not stop showrunner Martin Gero from asking. Mindhunter director Andrew Dominik has revealed several details regarding the direction of a proposed season 3 of the acclaimed Netflix show. Speaking with Collider, Dominik, who directed several episodes of Mindhunter Season 2, including the one featuring Charles Manson, revealed that a third series would have taken FBI profilers Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) out of the basement and transported them to the glitz, glamour, and serial killings of Hollywood....

NBC is putting the brakes on Heroes: Origins – and the possibility of a strike contributed to the decision, according to Variety. The network has indefinitely shelved production on the planned six-episode spinoff of its Monday hit series – which had attracted heavy hitters such as Eli Roth, Kevin Smith and Michael Dougherty (Superman Returns) – was set to unfurl later this season while Heroes was on hiatus. Now NBC has decided to not move forward with the production, at least for now....

Netflix today announced Love, Death & Robots, an animated anthology series presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool, upcoming untitled Terminator sequel) and David Fincher (MINDHUNTER, Gone Girl, House of Cards). Love, Death & Robots is a collection of animated short stories that span the science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy genres. With a bold approach to each story’s narrative, episodes are intended to be easy to watch and hard to forget....

We reported last month that two high-profile stars were joining Joel Schumacher’s new film and now it seems one of those stars has bowed out of the film. Deadline New York is reporting that Nicolas Cage has left the film project Trespass. It was said that no one knew why Cage abruptly left the film, which is just two weeks away from production starting up. While it was originally speculated if he was off the project for good, the story was updated with new information that Cage was permanently off the project....
