We reported in May that the hit Fox series 24 will get their seventh season kicked off a little early with a two-hour TV movie in November. USA Today is reporting that the two-hour movie will be titled 24: Exile and it’s still set for a November 23 TV release. The movie will take place on Inauguration Day and just as President Noah Daniels (Powers Boothe) is stepping down to Allison Taylor (Cherrie Jone), a coup breaks out in Africa....

Back in May, Fox issued a series order for their new horror series The Exorcist, based on the iconic 1973 thriller that many still think is the scariest movie of all time. The series will air in the Friday 9 PM time slot this fall, debuting on September 23, but for those heading to Comic-Con later this month, you’ll get to see the first episode at its SDCC panel on Friday, July 22 at 6 PM ET in Room 6A....

As we head toward the end of another month, the seemingly endless Covid pandemic has led to Paramount announcing that Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 are finding it an impossible mission to settle on a release date, with both movies receive a further delay of one year each to their previously set release dates. The latest installments of the popular action franchise have already had numerous delays over the last 20 months, and now Mission: Impossible 7 will move from September 30th, 2022 to July 14th, 2023, while Mission: Impossible 8 slides from July 7th, 2023 to June 28th, 2024....

Financing and production company Alcon Entertainment is set to remake the classic 1991 action-thriller Point Break as a feature film for release by Warner Bros, its home studio, it was announced by Alcon co-founders and co-CEO’s Broderick Johnson and Andrew A. The comic follows a woman named Rachel, who wakes up dead in a shallow grave, as she tries to piece together how she died. She ends up crossing paths with several friends, along with a mysterious blonde woman and a sadistic young girl named Zoe, who is on a killing spree....
