During the Super Bowl, a new spot was debuted for the upcoming Marvel sequel. It included what appeared to be the voice of Stewart as his X-Men character, Professor X. Because his face wasn’t explicitly shown, Stewart initially denied that it was him in the trailer, initially suggesting that it was an impersonator....

Accoridng to Variety, comedian Paul Rodriguez is teaming with his son, skateboarding champ Paul Rodriguez, Jr., to star in a sitcom pilot for UPN. The untitled Rodriguez show comes from Paramount Network TV, through Joe Roth’s TV shingle. Roth will exec produce with David Goetsch (Game Over), who’s writing the pilot. The comedy will revolve around the relationship between father and son, who reunite after a lengthy estrangement. The elder Rodriguez, who first rose to fame as the star of the short-lived 1983 sitcom A....

Production has begun in Los Angeles on Samantha Who?, a new comedy starring Christina Applegate that asks the question, what if you had the chance to start over, to do it all again? The series premieres Monday, October 15 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Samantha Newly (Ms. Applegate) has been offered a do-over in life after a hit-and-run accident leaves her in an eight-day coma. When she awakens in the hospital, she is surrounded by family and friends....

The Fox and Trump things are impressive, but the time that Homer predicted the mass of the Higgs boson particle on a chalkboard may be some of the most insane evidence yet....

It seems that one of ABC’s critically-acclaimed series might be pushing its last daisy soon. According to TV Week, Pushing Daisies might be on its way out. The series wraps production on its 13-episode order today and, insiders claim that ABC won’t be handing out a back-nine order for the series’ second season. A rep for ABC said the show’s fate had not yet been decided upon, though. Ratings for the Bryan Fuller-created series have been on a downslide this year from its strong debut season last year, which was shortened to just nine episodes, due to the writers strike....

Fox has ordered an additional nine episodes of the critically acclaimed new comedy Raising Hope, bringing the series to a full-season order, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. “With Raising Hope, Greg Garcia captures a smart take on the working-class family with a great mix of wild comedy and a big dose of heart,” said Reilly. “The show is running like a Swiss clock, and we’re very happy with how well audiences have responded so far - so we’re confident it will build an even bigger audience throughout the season....

Netflix announced today a Sabrina the Teenage Witch Series, based on the Archie Comics graphic novel The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. We first reported on this series back in September, when it was believed that the show would be a Riverdale spin-off, that would potentially introduce the Sabrina character in Riverdale Season 2. But now that the show has a new home on Netflix, it seems unlikely there will be any connection to Riverdale....

Rob Marshall discusses directing the forth installment of Disney’s popular franchise Hundreds of fans dressed as pirates and traveled to Disneyland yesterday at the crack of dawn to be the first in the world to see the new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the forth in the popular Pirates of The Caribbean series. The trailer, which debuted online in the afternoon, was introduced by Oscar nominated director Rob Marshall (Chicago and Nine), who makes the leap from directing big screen musicals to action-adventure with his new film....

David Fincher’s first time directing an animated feature will be on Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots. The Academy Award Winner has worked on the series as an executive producer since the animated anthology’s 2019 launch. Netflix dropped the Volume 3 trailer today, giving viewers a sneak peek at all nine upcoming episodes. Fincher stepped into the cirector’s chair for episode two: Bad Travelling. Based on the short story by Neal Asher, the episode is written by Se7en screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker, and animated by visual effects company Blur Studio....

Netflix has revealed the first footage from Volume 3 of its warped science fiction-slash-horror-slash-every genre you can imagine anthology series, Love, Death & Robots. Released via the official Netflix YouTube channel, the exciting glimpse at Love, Death & Robots Volume 3 begins with footage from the streaming giant’s prestigious shows The Crown and The Queen’s Gambit before jarring and glitching and introducing us to some foul-mouthed robots. The trailer further reveals that Love, Death & Robots Volume 3 will be “Extreming soon,” and based on the previous 2 series and the newly released footage, extreme is exactly what Love, Death & Robots is all about....

Celebrated actor Mads Mikkelsen will reunite with Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller for Dust Bunny, a movie that finds Mikkelsen as a man hunting monsters under the bed. Coming courtesy of Deadline, Dust Bunny will be written and directed by Bryan Fuller, with the filmmaker teaming up once again with Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen for what sounds like a beautifully twisted tale of monsters and childhood fears. According to the report, Dust Bunny “follows an eight-year-old girl who enlists the help of her intriguing neighbor to kill the monster under her bed that she believes ate her family....

We’ve been hearing about the Married With Children revival for a couple of years now. But it’s never moved forward due to a lot of legal issues over at Sony. Now, Katey Sagal, who played Peggy Bundy on the long-running series, believe the show is dead in the water. This new take on Married with Children was conceived as a vehicle for David Faustino, who would have reprised his role as Bud Bundy as he navigates life as a father and husband to an ungrateful wife and kids....

Martha De Laurentiis, the famed TV Producer who had been a part of the entertainment world for over forty years now, has been pronounced dead this Saturday morning. The woman behind shows like Hannibal and films like Red Dragon, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising, Martha passed away peacefully at the age of 67, after a long battle with cancer. Matthew Perry is speaking out about his “heartbreaking” decision to pull out of Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up after his heart stopped for five minutes at a Swiss rehab center in his new memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing. Perry, who starred as Chandler Bing on the hit NBC sitcom Friends, was set to play the role of a Republican journalist in the star-packed Netflix film. The actor had already shot a scene with star Jonah Hill when the health scare forced him to pull out of the project, which Perry says would have been the “biggest movie I’d gotten ever....
