Marvel Studios has tapped veteran marketing exec Geoffrey Ammer as president of worldwide marketing and home entertainment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this appointment comes just as Marvel is preparing for the release of Iron Man, it’s first self-financed and self-produced film. Ammer will be in charge of theatrical and home entertainment marketing for Marvel’s upcoming slate of live action motion pictures, including both Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. Ammar will partner with Marvel’s distribution partners in guiding pre and post release marketing initiatives, including creative advertising, publicity, promotions, licensing, merchandising, interactive marketing, research and media planning....

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a massive place. Supplying us with a plethora of superheroic, world-saving content, the MCU is full of characters to love and hate. Ranging from the beloved Spider-Man to the detestable Thanos, there is no shortage of characters for each fan to individually relate to. That said, one aspect of the characters that has been pretty absent throughout the MCU is whether those characters identify as a part of the LGBTQ+ community....

How exactly Sony’s upcoming Marvel outing, Morbius, fits into the multiverse has been one of the hottest burning questions surrounding the Spider-Man spinoff. Well, the answer to that question may come as a huge disappointment as it seems that Morbius place in the cinematic multiverse is…an anti-climax, with the movie cutting a lot of the exciting Easter eggs glimpsed throughout the various trailers. It might not as a surprise to Nick Offerman fans that he’s also a successful woodworker. “I feel a hell of a lot better after I walk in the woods,” he told NPR last year. Pete Davidson is going meta for his next project. Per Deadline, the Saturday Night Live star will headline his own comedy series inspired by his real-life with the comedian playing himself. The show is tentatively titled Bupkis and is co-written by Davidson and his longtime collaborator Dave Sirus and Judah Miller (Crashing). Bupkis is described as a “raw, unflinching, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life. It will include a mixture of grounded storytelling with absurd elements depicting an unfiltered view through Pete’s eyes....
