Syfy has yet another hit on its hands with the new series Continuum, which closes out Season 1 with “Endtime” Monday, March 18 at 8 PM ET. The series centers on a detective (Rachel Nichols) from the year 2077 who becomes trapped in present-day Vancouver, searching for criminals who have escaped from the future. Stars Rachel Nichols (Kiera Cameron) and Victor Webster (Carlos Fonnegra) joined series creator and executive producer Simon Barry on a conference call to discuss the Season 1 finale and beyond....

Nickelodeon today revealed a first-look of the characters in its brand-new animated series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which follows the band of brothers as they discover new powers and encounter a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City. The 2D-animated series debuts later this year on Nickelodeon. There is no word on when the first footage of these heroes in a half-shell will debut at this time....

Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to star in Gravty for Warner Bros. Pictures. Dealine New York broke the news yesterday, revealing that Jonas Cuaron wrote the screenplay with his father Alfonso, who is set to direct the project. Downey will play an expedition team leader at a remote space station. While he and a female colleague are traveling outside the station, an exploding satellite decimates his team inside. Angelina Jolie was once cast as Downey Jr....

When Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore was released in theaters, the film fell below expectations at the box office, putting the future of the franchise in jeopardy. While it’s hard to pinpoint any one specific cause as to why Fantastic Beasts 3 came up short, it certainly didn’t help that Johnny Depp left the sequel’s production in controversial fashion. Just four days after Season 1 debuted in its entirety on Netflix, the streaming service has renewed Bojack Horseman for Season 2. Netflix has handed out a 12-episode Season 2 order for the animated series, which centers on the title character (Will Arnett), a talking horse who starred in the hit 1990s sitcom “Horsin Around.” The washed up star tries to navigate through present-day Los Angeles with the help of his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his agent/former love interest (Amy Sedaris)....

Slated to debut on Netflix on December 26, Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation have released first look images and announced the cast of the Netflix original series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, based on Universal’s multi-billion dollar Fast & Furious franchise. The series is executive produced by Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz, Chris Morgan, Tim Hedrick and Bret Haaland. As seen in the Fast & Furious: Spy Racers trailer, teenager Tony Toretto follows in the footsteps of his cousin Dom when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league serving as a front for a nefarious crime organization called SH1FT3R bent on world domination....

Yesterday, Fox issued a series order for their new X-Men TV series entitled The Gifted, while unveiling the first brief teaser, with the full trailer arriving May 15. To celebrate the series order, executive producer Bryan Singer, who also directed the pilot episode, sent out a new photo from the set, offering our first look at Emma Dumont as Lorna Dane, a.k.a. Polaris. With the first full trailer just days away, it’s possible we could get a few more sneak peeks from the director between now and then....

AC Toys has unveiled two new toy images that reveal the likeness of both The Fallen and Devastator from the summer blockbuster Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which is set for release on June 26.
