Pancake Mountain has returned with a brand new musical sketch featuring one of today’s biggest rock stars, Kelli Mayo of Skating Polly. The fun song and dance number is all about washing a dirty dog, and should be enough to take your mind off the gloom and doom just beyond the window if only for a few moments. Like most of the world, Kelli Mayo is on a break from her job, which happens to be playing in her ‘ugly pop’ band Skating Polly, and she appears to be away from her bandmates and siblings Curtis Mayo and Peyton Bighorse....

Warner Bros. has sent us the first movie posters for two of their upcoming films. Click on the thumbnails below to see larger versions of the poster. The first film is P.S. I Love You which arrives in theatres on December 21st and stars Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Gina Gershon, Lisa Kudrow, Harry Connick, Jr., Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kathy Bates and James Marsters. Like many teen dramas in the early-2000s, One Tree Hill was messy. While the writing was often clunky and over-the-top, the characters and actors made it a cultural phenomenon. In recent years, after news broke about how showrunner Mark Schwahn consistently mistreated, abused, and sexually harassed the women (via Variety), it made many of their awful storylines feel even cruder than they already were. Further, in 2021, lead actresses Bethany Joy Lenz, Hilarie Burton, and Sophia Bush decided to take back the show with a podcast called “Drama Queens,” dedicated to re-watching the episodes and looking back on the good, bad, and ugly....

We are almost to the very end of the prequel story explaining how the Dark Knight in Gotham City came to be. You can bring home the latest action-adventure film from super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer on both DVD and Blu-ray this September. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray on September 14. While Marvel multiverse cameos are the main source of rumors at the moment, DC has their own character crossovers coming, according to reports about Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Star Rachel Zegler has now added to whispers that Gal Gadot will be making an appearance as Wonder Woman in the movie, which now arrives in cinemas this Christmas. While there is obviously no official confirmation of the rumors, Warner Bros. does seem to be attempting to add some kind of connecting thread through the upcoming DCEU projects, and having Wonder Woman drop in would help make that connection with Shazam’s sequel....

Randall Park is everywhere these days. Remember his guest role on HBO’s Veep back in the day? As politician Danny Chung, he was a hoot to watch — especially when he fired off killer one-liners to fellow White House sleazebags, such as, “In six years’ time, you and me, Oval Office, ordering a pizza and an air strike.” Since then, Park has taken Hollywood by storm. De Palma hits up the war in this new intense DVD. Redacted is coming to DVD on February 19. The disc will be priced at $26.98 SRP. The film stars Kel O’Neill, Ty Jones, Daniel Stewart Sherman, and Izzy Diaz. Now, I’ll confess openly that I was looking forward to Tooth and Nail only slightly less than the last film in the rotation. I am, and longtime readers will be able to back me up on this, terribly, terribly fond of dystopian fare, because I believe it’s pretty much just a matter of time until we’re actually IN a scenario like this so it pays to have some idea of what to do....

Back in October, actor Vin Diesel revealed Riddick was nearing the start of production, although the sequel was shut down weeks later because of cash flow issues. Now it seems all has been resolved, and Riddick will resume shooting on December 28. Michel Trudel, who owns the Montreal studio where Riddick was shooting, booted the cast and crew off the set when Vin Diesel’s production company, One Race Films, fell behind on payments to the studio....

Variety reports that Ridley Scott is in talks to direct Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington in the Brian Grazer-produced drama that had its plug pulled in late 2004 by Universal. The hope is to shoot this summer. Universal will decide this week whether to finance or co-finance the revamped ’70s crime drama, or possibly let it go. Two other studios are circling the project if Universal backs down. The drama has a checkered past....

Dimension Films announced that they will make a new Halloween movie with Rob Zombie (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) writing, directing and serving as a producer. Malek Akkad of Trancas International Films (Halloween: H20) will produce the feature along with Andy Gould of Vision Entertainment Group (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses). Zombie will also serve as music supervisor on the film. Miramax Films will co-finance the development with Dimension Films....

Netflix and Lindsay Lohan are getting into the holiday spirit with the release of the trailer for Falling for Christmas. Coming to Netflix in November, the film stars Lohan as an heiress with amnesia spending the holidays with a single father (Chord Overstreet). In the trailer, Lohan performs a rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock,” and you can check it out for yourself by watching the video below. The film will release globally on Netflix on Nov....
