Marvel has welcomed their fans now to the Multiverse Saga. Comic-Con is rocking this weekend, and a lot of the reason, once again, is because Marvel is bringing down the house. A slew of movies and projects have been announced, but much as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame rounded out the Infinity Saga, Marvel has welcomed their fans now to the Multiverse Saga. What a welcome it will be with not one, but two Avengers films slated for May and November of 2025....

SFX Magazine recently got to speak with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who revealed some new details on the studio’s upcoming slate of films, and how Iron Man 2, Thor and The First Avenger: Captain America will segue into the highly-anticipated The Avengers. Feige also briefly mentioned who might be included in The Avengers film as well. “It’s fun now, and we’re introducing some new characters in [Iron Man 2],” he told the magazine....

From “1984” to “The Merchant of Venice”, Radford’s accomplished filmmaking has been a top draw for the acting elite. More than 15 years after the conclusion of That ’70s Show, Mila Kunis returned to set to film a guest appearance for That ’90s Show. Original cast members Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, and Tommy Chung will also appear in the anticipated sequel. In July, Kutcher, who has been married to Kunis since 2015, told EW that filming for the new series was “super nostalgic” and “really odd....

The Twister sequel is moving forward with a director now in talks to take the helm on the movie for Universal and Amblin. Per Deadline, Lee Isaac Chung (Minari) is on deck to direct the sequel, which will be penned by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant). Frank Marshall (Jurassic World Dominion) is producing the feature under his Kennedy/Marshall banner, while original Twister studio Warner Bros. Pictures will co-finance the project....

Television star Mira Furlan of Lost and Babylon 5 fame has sadly passed away. According to her manager, Chris Roe, the actress died on Wednesday at her home in Los Angeles due to complications from West Nile Virus. She was 65 years old. Furlan might be best known for her role as the Minbari ambassador Delenn on the sci-fi series Babylon 5. She appeared on a total of 111 episodes over five seasons between 1993 and 1998....

Mira Sorvino has joined the cast of the true crime tale The Class Project, shooting in Winnipeg under the direction of Stanley M. Brooks. Abigail Breslin and Georgie Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia) star as Canadian sisters who have been at the mercy of their alcoholic mother (Sorvino) and her abusive boyfriends for as far back as they can remember. The duo decides to take matters into their own hands and plot to kill her in order to collect the insurance money....

A new Morbius poster has been unveiled, letting Marvel fans know that the next installment in the Sony Spider-Man Universe will hit IMAX on April 1. Starring Academy Award winner Jared Leto as the titular character, Morbius will introduce the next member of Sony’s shared universe, a doctor who is transformed into a vampire after attempting to cure his terminal illness. Shared to Twitter by Fandango, the Morbius IMAX poster is particularly artistic in its approach, with a silhouette of Jared Leto’s heroic doctor merging with an image of bats and a glowing visage of the cave that will change the man’s life forever....

Namor the Submariner is not the villain of the upcoming Marvel sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, says actor Tenoch Huerta. In an interview with Empire, Huerta has explained how Namor will factor into proceedings, with the actor hoping that the underwater ruler will change the way Latin-Americans are portrayed in big blockbuster movies. Huerta later added that “[Latin-Americans] are making something to be proud of in Hollywood.” So, while Namor will not the villain, Huerta does call the character an antihero, suggesting that the character’s live-action debut will stick closely to the comics in that regard....

To hear Nicolas Cage talk about it, the next stop for his character from Ghost Rider should be somewhere in Europe. Cage spoke to Cinema Blend in preparation for the release of Bangkok Dangerous, and he revealed what may be in future for the flaming skull-headed superhero. Cage says that he spoke to studio executives a few months back about a possible sequel. “We talked about going international with that character, taking him into Europe, going on a motocylce tour through Europe....

Currently in development at HBO, The Last of Us series has just added Nick Offerman in a major role. The Parks and Recreation star has boarded the video game adaptation to play Bill, a character featured in the original video game. Con O’Neill was previously attached to the guest starring role, but he reportedly backed out due to a scheduling conflict. Offerman will appear alongside Murray Bartlett’s Frank as two survivors holed up in an isolated town in a post-pandemic world....

Last week, Universal Pictures dropped the trailer for the upcoming horror-comedy Renfield, revealing an eerie yet simultaneously silly look for Nicolas Cage’s portrayal of the iconic Count Dracula. Recently, Cage sat down to talk with Collider about the role, saying that he took inspiration from Christopher Lee’s Dracula, although he had “a lot of help” from costume designers and makeup artists: Christopher Lee portrayed Dracula in several films throughout the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and was well-known for his roles as Saruman in The Lord of The Rings trilogy and Count Dooku in Star Wars....

It seems time wasn’t on Farce of the Penguins side. In a story from Variety, the film, which was originally slated to come out theatrically, was supposed to take advantage of the popularity of the movie it is sending up, March of the Penguins. However, once it fell behind schedule (it currently still is in post production), ThinkFilm decided to release it on home video January the 30. Combining spectacular live-action penguin footage with a decidedly R-rated theme, Farce of the Penguins concerns one penguin’s search for love while on a 70-mile trek with his libidinous buddies on their way to their annual mating ritual....

There won’t be a third season of Raised by Wolves. Per Deadline, the series has been officially canceled at HBO Max after a two-season run. The renewal was announced with a statement by HBO Max that you can read below. However, Abubakar Salim added with a Twitter post that there is hope for moving forward, and that it will help if the fans rally behind the series. Ray Fisher’s time as part of the DCEU was tumultuous to say the least, and the Justice League star made his feelings for departing DC Films president Walter Hamada as he stepped down after four years overseeing DC projects at Warner Bros. Despite the Justice League being a breakout role for Fisher, following his brief debut as Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it has been well documented that Fisher was one of the people who described toxic behavior on the set of the movie by director Joss Whedon....

SCI FI announced today the return of Lucy Lawless to Battlestar Galactica and the casting of Sam J. Jones as a guest star on the Channel’s new series Flash Gordon. Jones played the title character in Mike Hodges’ 1980 film, Flash Gordon. Lucy Lawless will return to Battlestar Galactica for a minimum of two episodes of the show’s fourth and final season, currently in production in Vancouver. Lawless will reprise her role as D’Anna, the religious zealot who broke away from the collective voice of her fellow Cylons, thus sowing the first seeds of dissention among the robot race....
