The new trailer for The Witcher is finally here. In addition, Netflix has announced that the series will be premiere on December 20th. Yes, that’s the same day that The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters. Comic book fans and Star Wars fans may have some scheduling conflicts on that day as they rush to binge watch the entire first season of The Witcher over that holiday weekend. Whatever the case may be, fans of the franchise finally have a release date....

Yesterday, at New York Comic Con 2019, Starz surprised Outlander fans with an exclusive first look video and six new images revealing new footage from Outlander season 5 during the Outlander panel at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden (link and embed code above). Moderated by Ginger Zee, Chief Meteorologist on Good Morning America (ABC), Outlander panelists included: Caitriona Balfe (Claire Randall Fraser), Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser), along with Comic Con first-timers Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Jocasta) and David Berry (Lord John Grey)....

The creators of Brickleberry are back and even more crazy than ever before with their new show Paradise PD, which will premiere on Netflix in August. The final moments of Prey suggest that the battle between the alien trophy hunters and the Comanche Nation is far from over, with Trachtenberg now revealing to The Hollywood Reporter that he has given some thought to what could occur in a potential Prey 2....

Where the Crawdads Sing is the second book-to-screen adaptation that has been truly successful in 2022; the novel was written by Delia Owens and was released in 2018. The plot follows “the marsh girl”, Kya, who’s left to her own survival skills as a young child and grows up in the woods, mixing in with the wrong people and defending herself when it’s necessary. The film has received mixed reviews from critics, but audiences who have read the book before seeing the movie have commented about how closely it has translated to the screen....

Basically, a young woman goes to Paris for the first time and winds up at a party in the Catacombs, a labyrinthine mass of burial chambers and assorted morbid French inscriptions. After she becomes separated from the rest of the party, she finds herself believing a horror story told earlier about a goat-masked monster of a man who kills people in a grotesque and horrifying fashion....

The Good Repo Man is a movie that should be rereleased every 10 years. Forever. The Bad I would really love an in-depth interview with Emilio Estevez about this movie. It is very hard to not write a personal review about Repo Man so I am not even going to try. I first saw this movie when I was 12 years old. My brother had sort of introduced me to Punk Rock, but this film which had a soundtrack by Black Flag, Circle Jerks and Suicidal Tendencies took everything a step further....

Netflix released a teaser for the upcoming fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever, a series praised for being a watershed moment for breaking South Asian stereotypes. It was also announced that Love, Victor star Michael Cimino is joining the series as Ethan. Netflix’s Never Have I Ever is a coming-of-age comedy about the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl from Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations....

Margot Robbie has seen her second movie in a row become a box office bomb, as Babylon failed to gain a hold over the festive period. The movie, which also stars Brad Pitt, Olivia Wilde and Tobey Maguire, was given a limited release on December 23 to less than positive reviews and that has clearly not helped the film’s box office earnings. Currently, the movie seems certain to end the extended weekend having taken less than $6 million against its $79 million budget....

Producer-star Mark Duplass is bringing his indie web series Wedlock to Vimeo and FilmBuff through a joint distribution deal that will cover a number of platforms. Mark Duplass stars alongside Jennifer Lafleur as two longtime friends who have always been told they should be together romantically. With their respective love lives in the dumps, they decide to put together a plan for falling in love with one another, as they seek help from a therapist (Rob Corddry) to put it in motion....

There doesn’t seem to be much of a connection between the Nirvana album Nevermind and the Star Wars franchise, but Mark Hamill has found one and brought it to the attention of everyone by sharing an image of an edited version of the American band’s iconic album cover that incorporates a scene from The Empire Strikes Back. The original album cover is probably one of the most instantly recognizable pieces in music history, featuring a naked baby swimming towards a dollar bill, and has been recently the subject of a lawsuit by the now grown-up child, something that Hamill also brought up in his post....

Only on The CW, Supergirl Season 2 continues tomorrow night with the episode We Can Be Heroes. But series star David Harewood is much more excited about next week’s episode, as he revealed a new poster for The Martian Chronicles, which premieres February 6. Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl and David Harewood’s J’onn J’onzz will reunite, with the poster tagline reading ‘Worlds Clash, Heroes Unite’. Harewood shared this about the episode. The poster debuted on David Harewood’s Instagram, but he wouldn’t offer any further details on social media....

Warner Bros. is in talks with Martin Campbell to direct Green Lantern, the live-action film based on the DC Comics hero, according to Variety. Campbell last directed Casino Royale and recently wrapped the Mel Gibson starrer Edge of Darkness, based on the 1985 BBC miniseries that Campbell helmed. The emergence of Campbell, who also helmed two Zorro films and the 007 film Goldeneye, puts Green Lantern at the top of DC properties being set for movie treatment by WB....

Matt Stone and Trey Parker have joined up with the team behind Canadian series Kenny vs. Spenny to produce new episodes of the comedy-reality series for Comedy Central, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The network has licensed 10 new episodes of the show, in which childhood friends and series co-creators Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice battle each other in outrageous competitions, and also has acquired 10 episodes from the show’s library....

The two have wonderful chemistry, they perform well together on missions, and they’re incredibly loving parents. In short, they were made for each other, and Vision’s death was enough to rattle any fan of the MCU....

HBO released an official trailer for The Last of Us, and included in the trailer’s new footage is the reveal that Yellowjackets star Melanie Lynskey has boarded the video game adaptation in a key role. The trailer, which you can watch below, provides our best look yet at the anticipated series. This includes showing plenty of lead stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in their respective roles as Joel and Ellie, along with other cast members, but we can also we a shot of Lynskey clear as day as she veers toward the camera....

Bloody-Disgusting learned at the American Film Market that Solomon Kane director Michael J. Bassett will be writing and directing Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The new title was confirmed at AFM, along with the fact that the movie will be shot in 3D. Here’s the plot breakdown for this upcoming sequel: We reported just yesterday that this sequel to the 2006 thriller Silent Hill is moving forward, although now it doesn’t seem that screenwriter Roger Avary will be involved in the project....

Set in turn-of-the-century Paris, the infamous cabaret destination Moulin Rouge is the main star of Baz Luhrmann’s aptly titled musical Moulin Rouge!. Ewan McGregor plays Christian, a penniless poet who falls in love with the Moulin Rouge’s big star Satine (played by Nicole Kidman) who dreams of being a real actress. Though Satine has the ambition and talent to fly away from the underworld, as her boss refers to it, she has tuberculosis and is getting worse....

National Geographic Entertainment (NGE) has acquired worldwide rights to the film Blue Man Group: Mind Blast for distribution to giant-screen, digital and IMAX 3D and 2D theaters. The 3D live-action comedy, slated for release in Spring 2011, will feature an original screenplay and score and will star the group’s original cast members. Blue Man Group has been impressing live audiences since 1990 with its wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts that combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics in producing a unique entertainment experience....

Senior Year, starring Rebel Wilson, is a feel-good comedy in a high school setting. The movie is noted to be Wilson’s first comedic lead role after her appearance in The Hustle. Waking up at 37 years of age, Stephanie heads back to high school to live out her teenage high school dreams....
