Morgan Creek Productions has nabbed Rand Ravich’s Russian mob script Gregory Burns, with Universal Pictures on board as domestic distributor. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the thriller centers on the title character, an Arizona cop who goes undercover to take down a Los Angeles-based Russian crime family. Morgan Creek International and Universal Pictures International will distribute the film in foreign territories. The script has been on the top list of many film executives’ potential development projects since well before mob films like The Departed hit it big at the boxoffice....

When Keanu Reeves starred as John Constantine in the 2005 DC Comics adaptation Constantine, the character was altered significantly from the comic book, where he was a blond British man. With NBC moving forward with its Constantine TV pilot, the character will reportedly be going back to its comic book roots as a London-based man with a British accent. A brand new series of web-comics based on NBC’s Heroes will be appearing soon, introducing a dozen new characters from the Heroes universe - some of who might appear in the series. It’s looking like Eternals might be getting a sequel. According to Patton Oswalt, who voiced Pip the Troll in the original movie, a sequel is in the works with Chloe Zhao returning to direct. During an appearance on The Today Show this week, Oswalt was asked about his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor and comedian then claimed that Eternals 2 is in the works and teased that he might be returning as Pip alongside Harry Styles’ Starfox....
