Queen Latifah embarks on a move across the country in the latest trailer for End of the Road. The Netflix film will surely make viewers’ hearts race as Brenda (Latifah) and her family are mercilessly hunted down by a murderer who wants his money returned. The thriller centers on Brenda, a widow who recently lost her job and decided to move across the country with her children and brother to begin a new life....

The Good On some weird level movies like this almost cannot help but be enjoyable. The Bad The effects. The story. The Acting. Difficulty in making the movie play. Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave to the Grave begins with Charles Garrison (Peter Coyote; yes, I was wondering what he was doing in this movie myself!) trying to sell a pair of canisters to some Russians. Apparently, the canisters contain a potion that they need for some malevolent purposes....

Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have signed onto direct the upcoming pitch-black comedy Doc and Howie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Montecito Pictures is producing, and the movie will likely be distributed by Paramount Pictures, through whom they have a first-look deal with. Originally titled Doc and Howie Whack a Granny, Steve Leff’s script landed on last year’s coveted Black List. The story, which is being likened to Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, centers on two hipster do-nothings who accidentally kill an old lady when they refuse to help her carry groceries up a long flight of stairs....

When the reviews came in for Rick and Morty season 4, the hardest-hitting critiques all bordered around the “dark” direction it had decided to tow. The audience was split into two segments; the regular fans who didn’t think the season was as horrible as the diehards were projecting. And, of course, the diehards who basically compared it to the fall of Lucifer, with some even going as far as calling it the worst season of the franchise....

Ever since the finale of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aired, fans have been begging for more content. While the creators announced a movie was in the works, word on the movie has been fairly slim. Looks like the wait is finally coming to an end! The official TMNT Twitter account has announced Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie is coming to Netflix on August 5, 2022....

Lionsgate is getting Bratty. In a story from Home Media Retailing, the mini-major recently “announced both a theatrical film and a series of animated direct-to-DVD features” that will be based on the dolls. Crystal Sky Pictures has acquired the “U.S. distribution rights to the live-action film, tentatively titled Bratz: The Movie.” Crystal Sky is also financing the film which will be directed by Sean McNamara. Production on the project will begin in February 2007....

Lord of the Rings producer Barrie Osborne will return to New Zealand next month to produce the fantasy action film action film Laundry Warrior, according to Variety. The English-language heroic tale begins filming Nov. 12 in Auckland with a cast headed by Geoffrey Rush, Kate Bosworth and Korean star Jang Dong-gun . Directed and written by Sngmoo Lee, the movie has a $40 million budget. The story revolves around a fugitive Asian warrior (Jang) hide out in the American badlands, where the town drunk turns out to be another fighter in retirement (Rush) and the circus knife thrower is a young woman (Bosworth) hell-bent on revenge for abuses in her youth....

Former Hallmark Channel staple Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli will be facing a jury this fall, as a federal judge in Boston has just set their first trial date for Oct. 5. As most of us know, Loughlin and Giannulli were named as part of the infamous college admissions scandal last March when they were accused of using bribery to enroll their daughters into a prestigious university....

A teaser for Bob Odenkirk’s next show, Lucky Hank, has been posted today, and fans of the actor eagerly await his newest project. While few official details have been told so far, we do know it’s based on a 1997 book titled Straight Man, which chronicles the midlife crisis of an English department chairman. In the short teaser, Odenkirk’s character simply says: Odenkirk previously stated that the main character is “a cranky guy, but you like him....

Maybe we haven’t seen the last of Aria in the Pretty Little Liars universe. Ahead of the premiere of the sequel series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, on HBO Max this month, original series star Lucy Hale hosted the premiere of the new show. Speaking with Extra at the event, Hale described how coming back to host the spinoff’s premiere felt like a full-circle moment as it had her recalling when she first joined Pretty Little Liars and how it forever changed her life....

A television spinoff series based on the 2014 sci-fi action movie Lucy is now in the works, with Oscar-winning actor and Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman in talks to reprise his role. News of the Lucy spinoff show comes courtesy of Variety, with EuropaCorp and Village Roadshow teaming up for the project. Details beyond that are thin on the ground at present, and there has been no reveal regarding the plot of the series, but it is exciting to hear that there are plans to delve back into the world created in Lucy....

While, many times, spin-off shows aren’t all that successful, Major Crimes proved to be an exception with a successful Season 1, which debuted last year following the final episode of The Closer. Mary McDonnell is back as Captain Sharon Rayder for Season 2, debuting Monday, June 10 at 9 PM ET with “Final Cut”, an episode which puts a nice twist on the standard “Hollywood” drama. The episode starts out with a woman found dead in her pool, who turns out to be the wife of a big-shot movie director, but there is a lot more going on in this episode than just that one case....

Yesterday, Sam Raimi, while expressing his thoughts on directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, teased his Spider-Man 4, which was sacked by Sony Pictures Releasing, who decided to reboot the franchise with The Amazing Spider-Man. His tease was based on the newly devised concept of the multiverse which his upcoming film will dive into. Through multiverse, there would now be a possibility for several characters crossing over into the MCU from multiple fictional realities where other Marvel films such as X-Men and Raimi’s Spider-Man films are set in....

Marvel Zombies is one of the MCU’s most anticipated spin-off series, despite its release date being so far away. The zombie apocalypse is coming to the MCU as the series will have some of our favorite Marvel heroes face off against each other in a struggle of zombies vs. survivors. But that’s not all we’ll get. Marvel recently announced more comic book heroes that we’ve only seen in bit parts in the movies....

In honor of its 20th anniversary, on-screen lovers Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson sat down with Vanity Fair to talk about the movie and share how the film almost never happened and the surprising way it all came together. It’s hard to picture anyone other than Kate Hudson playing the loveable, ambitious blonde darling Andie Anderson, but according to writer Burr Steers Gwyneth Paltrow was first pegged for the role, “Initially Gwyneth was attached to it, and then at some point, she must have had a conflict and had to pull out,” says Steers....

Jon Favreau’s Iron Man franchise not only ushered in a new era in cinema, but introduced audiences to characters that could stand on their own without a call to assemble. One such character was Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. Her introduction into the MCU was as epic as the film she was introduced in. Iron Man 2 was the no-turning-back point of the franchise; audiences needed to be less concerned about corporate espionage and traitorous mentors and more about greater, super-powered threats to the world....

A trailer has been released for Medusa’s Venom. The follow-up to the snake horror film Medusa from 2021, the new film is getting released in the United States and Canada on Feb. 14, 2023, with a home entertainment release on DVD and Premium TVOD. The cast of the upcoming spy drama Lioness is growing continuously, with the most recent addition being Michael Kelly, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His role will be as Byron Westfield, the Deputy Director of the CIA. One of Kelly’s most recognizable characters is Doug Stamper in House of Cards, in which he appeared in every one of the series 73 episodes. However, Michael Kelly is no stranger to these sorts of roles and often portrays law enforcement and military officials....

The CW Network has informed us that actor Michael Rosenbaum is leaving the hit show Smallville. We have also been provided with a letter written by Rosenbaum himself, to the fans of his Lex Luthor character and the show itself.
