Jason Bateman has announced that Netflix’s acclaimed drama series Ozark has been renewed for a third season. Season 3 will consist of ten episodes and will see the return of Chris Mundy as executive producer and showrunner. Season 1 premiered in August of 2017 and received positive reviews, which led to a second season being announced shortly thereafter. However, the second season was met with mostly mixed reviews from critics and fans of the show....

Fast and Furious star Paul Walker will receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the Class of 2023. The announcement was made today by chairwoman of the Walk of Fame Select Panel, Ellen K, in a live video streamed on the Walk of Fame’s YouTube Channel. Along with Walker, another posthumous award was given to Oscar-nominated actress Juanita Moore in the Motion Picture category....

Tired of waiting for Reese Witherspoon to get her act together and finally make something? Well, the wait is over. According to Variety, Reese’s own production company, Type A Films, is preparing a film adaptation of Rebecca Godfrey’s true crime piece Under the Bridge. The story focuses on Godfrey’s small home town, where eight high school students were charged with the brutal murder of one of their classmates. The script will cover both the investingation and the prosecution....

Netflix, which has been branching out into TV production this year, is in talks to resurrect Reno 911!, two years after Comedy Central canceled the series. Producers Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are in discussions with Netflix to produce new episodes of the show, although nothing is concrete yet. A deal still needs to be worked out with series creators/stars Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, and Comedy Central would need to sign off on the new episodes, since the network owns the copyright to the series....

Richard Schickel is a man who has truly done it all in the movie business. Schickel has written, directed and produced films, TV shows and documentaries and even has a few acting credits to his name as well. Aside from his career on the production side of filmmaking, Schickel is also a renowned film critic for Time Magazine, author and historian, with a number of film books to his credit. It’s time to get schwifty in a big way, Rick and Morty fans. Not only has Season 4 officially been ordered by Adult Swim and Cartoon Network, but we’re getting 70 more episodes of the animated series in the future. Given the show’s historically lengthy production timeline, it may be quite a while before we see all 70 of those episodes, but this is officially happening as creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have both confirmed the news on social media....

After two decades, director Rob Zombie was able to gather three of the stars of his first horror movie, House of 1000 Corpses, together again for a fun reunion photo. Posted to Instagram, the image reveals Zombie with wife Sheri Moon Zombie, who made her debut as Baby Firefly in the film. Actor Jacob Tremblay has been delving further into voiceover work in animation, but no matter which high-profile movies he might be working on, it’s a beloved Pixar classic from the past that remains his favorite animated movie. Last year, Tremblay was featured as the voice of the titular character in Pixar and Disney’s hit film Luca, and he’s teaming back up with Disney to provide the voice of Flounder in the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid....

Marvel actor Wyatt Russell is being kept in the dark over his eventual return to the MCU as John Walker AKA U.S. Agent. In an interview with Collider, Russell revealed that he knows absolutely nothing about when Walker might return to screens. Despite the character being expected to return in the likes of Captain America 4 and the recently announced Thunderbolts movie. Marvel Studios has become well-renowned for its commitment to secrecy, and it sounds like this extends to even the potential stars of future projects....

There is always a lot of speculation around the release of upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. While Marvel Studios has a long list of premiere dates readily available for their movies, Disney+ TV shows are a little more secretive. For that reason, a blog post shared on Disney+’s Japan site has suggested that only three Marvel series are currently confirmed for 2023, way short of the six or seven that have been previously hinted at in Marvel’s recent Expo and Comic-Con appearances....
