With less than a month left until The Walking Dead Season 7 debuts on AMC, the network has released the full, official plot synopsis. We don’t learn who Negan’s victim is in this synopsis, but it teases that the world Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his crew inhabit, is bigger and deadlier than they could have ever imagined. Columbia Pictures has released the trailer for their upcoming thriller Passengers, starring Anne Hathaway, Patrick Wilson, Chelah Horsdal, Ryan Robbins, Andrew Wheeler, Robert Gauvin, David Morse, Andre Braugher, Clea DuVall, Dianne Wiest. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has seemingly confirmed Pirates of the Caribbean 6. While talking to Comicbook.com about the success of Top Gun: Maverick, Bruckheimer revealed that Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is happening, with Ted Elliott, the veteran screenwriter behind Aladdin and Shrek, penning the script. Elliott, along with Terry Rossio, also wrote the first four movies of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. While there has been recent talk about the villains in an upcoming superhero sequel, it seems there might be a feline villain in the film. Mania.com is reporting that Rachel McAdams has met with the Spider-Man 4 producers to play Felicia Hardy a.k.a. The Black Cat. It was said that McAdams is the top contender to play the character, who starts out as a petty cat burglar in the comic books and develops an obsession with Peter Parker/Spider-Man....

Groundswell Productions and Fox Searchlight Pictures announced today that principal photography for Lola Versus began today in New York City starring Greta Gerwig (Greenberg), Zoe Lister Jones (Breaking Upwards), Joel Kinnaman (AMC’s The Killing), Hamish Linklater (The Future), three time Academy Award nominee Debra Winger (Rachel Getting Married) and Bill Pullman (Igby Goes Down). Acclaimed New York-based filmmaker Daryl Wein (Breaking Upwards) is directing from an original screenplay he co-wrote with Lister Jones....

Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse in an interview with Sci Fi Wire gave some insight on season three. He revealed that the series will focus more on romance and on the mysterious Others. Cuse says “The Others are an important part of season three, and there’s a lot of mysteries and a lot of questions about the Others that the audience is going to be curious about going into season three … There will definitely be some new characters on the show next year....

MTV recently spoke with actor Mark Wahlberg, who confirmed that he will star as Nathan Drake in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. After many months, the long-awaited fourth season of Mayans. M.C. has finally kicked off. With absolutely no time wasted, the season premiere began immediately where the previous season finale left off. Variety published an article this morning detailing their new “tenpole” strategy for the next few years, with plans to release some gigantic blockbuster sequels including The Hobbit which serves as the prequel to the The Lord Of The Rings movies, which were released by New Line Cinema. While New Line has been trying to obtain the rights to the prequel for quite some time, it seems now that MGM is reluctant to give up those rights to the film, in hopes that they will produce the film themselves, hopeing to anchor Peter Jackson to the project....

At the Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night, Michael Keaton won the award for Outstanding Actor in a Limited Series, Movie or Anthology for his performance in the Hulu series Dopesick. This marks the first Emmy win for Keaton following his prior nomination in 2004 for his work on the documentary Fred Rogers: America’s Favorite Neighbor. Keaton also won the Golden Globe and the SAG Award for his Dopesick role this year....

ABC has dropped the first full length trailer for its upcoming crime drama The Company You Keep. Based on the Korean Broadcasting System’s series My Fellow Citizens, The Company You Keep follows the complicated love story of Charlie (Milo Ventimiglia) and Emma (Catherine Haena Kim).
