The Holiday debuted with $13.5 million; the romantic comedy from Nancy Meyers stars Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, and Jack Black. Kate and Cameron switch houses and continents in the film. Happy Feet finally came down from the top spot after three weeks....

Netflix has released a new trailer and four photos for the highly-anticipated series Mindhunter, which hails from critically-acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher. At first the idea of a film with no true plot, just a series of vignettes that revolve around one city and features several different directors and famous actors seems like a bad idea. It feels old and hack, and I think I’ve seen it before but much to my surprise New York, I Love You really pulls it off in a captivating and interesting way. Lionsgate and Ish Entertainment have stuck a deal with a Dubai-based shingle to send Paris Hilton to the Middle East in search of a new best friend in a new version of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peter Krause and Maura Tierney are in talks to play the leads for Parenthood. Krause and Tierney will play roles that Steve Martin and Diane Wiest made famous in the 1989 Parenthood film the pilot will be based on. The pilot was written by Jason Katims, the creator of Friday Night Lights, and the series will revolve around the Braverman siblings Adam (Krause), who is married with two kids, and Sarah (Tierney), a single mother....
