After a theatrical release in November, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City comes home in February. It will be available to purchase digitally on Jan. 18 followed by its release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Feb. 8. Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon has apologized for a recently resurfaced video he created years ago after. The video’s unearthing resulted in Harmon completely deleting his Twitter account. The video, and the controversy that has come along as a result, comes just days after Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was fired by Disney over a series of old, offensive tweets that reappeared online. The video that started making the rounds was a sketch intended to be a Showtime pilot....

The actress, singer, and fashion icon Liza Minnelli was “forced” to appear in a wheelchair at the 94th Academy Awards. Michael Feinstein, a singer and pianist and long-time collaborator of Minnelli, claimed on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, per The Guardian, on Tuesday, that her appearance to present the Best Picture Award at the end of the ceremony left her “very disappointed” because she didn’t want people to “worry” about her....

The Good Albert Brooks, like Larry David, understands comedy without trying to overstand it. The Bad This movie seems to end too abruptly. If you are expecting to see movie that places a “feel good” theme on East/West relations than Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World is not the movie for you. If you want to see Albert Brooks playing Albert Brooks being sent to India and Pakistan to try and find out what makes the Muslim people laugh (but never really getting anywhere doing it), than I think you will certainly enjoy this film....

Mega Man may be making a big time jump very, very soon. We reported a few days ago that actress Megan Fox’s option wasn’t renewed for Transformers 3 and some new information reveals that it was Fox that left the project herself. The Wrap is reporting that it was Fox’s decision to leave Transformers 3 and she did so because director Michael Bay was apparently “verbally abusive” to her on the set. The site reports that a source close to Fox revealed the news and that Fox, “had enough and decided to get out early....

The twisted world of director M. Night Shyamalan will continue with Universal Pictures, with the studio announcing that a mysterious new project from the Glass and Signs filmmaker will land in theaters in 2024. Revealed in a report by Deadline, Shyamalan’s next thriller will hit the big screen on April 5, 2024, though currently, no further details have been revealed. This latest project from divisive director M. Night Shyamalan will mark his sixth movie with Universal, with the likes of The Visit, Split, Glass and Old having each found great financial success for the studio — if not critical success…...

NBC and producers of The Apprentice will bring Donald Trump’s reality TV show back from the brink of cancellation for at least one more season, according to Reuters. The announcement is scheduled to occur within two weeks, about two months after the show had appeared on the verge of prime-time extinction. The Apprentice, which turned Trump into a television star and popularized his catch-phrase “You’re fired,” was sliding in the ratings and appeared headed for oblivion when it was omitted from the 2007-8 prime-time programming schedule NBC unveiled in mid-May....
